This was the first NOISEttes video and was made from existing live footage. It was directed by Danny Parson for the Side Salad Records release of the "Three Moods of the NOISEttes" EP. The bands first release. I think it's the bands best video and I don't understand why it was remade when "Don't Give Up" was released a second time. Enjoy.

Waltz of the Snowflakes, Nutcracker. CETTE VIDEO MERITE D'ETRE VUE EN PLEIN ECRAN (à condition de ne pas se mettre trop près de l'écran, sinon floue). Cette représentation est de 1994 au Théâtre Mariinsky de Saint-Pétersbourg. C'est la salle d'opéra pour laquelle Tchaïkovski a écrit ce ballet et où il a été crée en 1892 devant l'Empereur de Russie. On est donc tout à fait dans les conditions qu'avaient prévues Tchaïkovski. Cette représentation de 1994 est dansée avec la chorégraphie de Vassily Vainonen, proche de la mise en scène originale de 1892. Dansé par les Ballets Kirov. Le Casse-noisette est joué au "Mariinsky" assez souvent avec cette chorégraphie et ces décors, en particulier au moment des fêtes de la Noël orthodoxe (d'autres fois il est joué avec d'autres mises en scènes). Le "Mariinsky" est avec le "Bolchoï" de Moscou, l'un des deux opéras considérés comme les meilleurs en Russie et même beaucoup de mélomanes mettent le "Mariinsky" avant le "Bolchoï". C'est une salle "mythique". Cette représentation de 1994 du ballet complet le Casse-noisette (Nutcracker) de Tchaikovsky existe en DVD. iConcerts - Rock - Noisettes - Live At South by Southwest www.iconcerts.com Noisettes (occasionally written as NOISEttes) are an indie rock band from London comprising singer and bassist Shingai Shoniwa, guitarist Dan Smith, and drummer Jamie Morrison. The band first achieved commercial success and nationwide recognition with the second single of their second album, 'Don't Upset the Rhythm (Go Baby Go)' which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in Spring 2009. The band formed in 2003 when guitarist Smith and singer Shoniwa of the band Sonarfly began playing and writing together, along with drummer Morrison (formerly of Living With Eating Disorders, Willis, Six Toes, Jaywalk Buzz and others). The three had previously attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon together. They quickly formed a reputation for being one of the rowdiest live acts in London.
