Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1
Alfred Eric Leslie Satie (Honfleur, 17 May 1866 -- Paris, 1 July 1925) was a French composer and pianist. Starting with his first composition in 1884, he signed his name as Erik Satie. Satie was introduced as a "gymnopedist" in 1887, shortly before writing his most famous compositions, the Gymnopédies. Later, he also referred to himself as a "phonometrograph" or "phonometrician" (meaning "someone who measures (and writes down) sounds") preferring this designation to that of "musician," after having been called "a clumsy but subtle technician" in a book on contemporary French composers published in 1911. In addition to his body of music, Satie also left a remarkable set of writings, having contributed work for a range of publications, from the dadaist 391 to the American Vanity Fair. Although in later life he prided himself on always publishing his work under his own name, in the late nineteenth century he appears to have used pseudonyms such as Virginie Lebeau and François de Paule in some of his published writings. Satie was a colourful figure in the early 20th century Parisian avant-garde. He was a precursor to later artistic movements such as minimalism, repetitive music and the Theatre of the Absurd. Dada No. 1
Dada No. 1 is the Hindi dubbed version of Tamil movie Majaa starring Vikram, Asin, Vadivelu, Pasupathy, Vijayakumar, Manivannan, Sindhu Tolani, Murali and Biju Menon. Govindan (Manivannan) is a thief who has two children: Aadhi (Pasupathy) and Mathi (Vikram). Years go by and the two, Aadhi and Madhi, decide to stop stealing and mend their ways and lead a hardworking life along with their father. They migrate to neighboring village and meet a retired agricultural officer, Chidambaram (Vijayakumar) who is in deep debt and is under pressure from the village's landlord, Kalingarayar (Murali) to clear his debts. In efforts to help Chidambaran, Mathi confronts Seetha Lakshmi (Asin), Kalingarayar's daughter, who comes to collect the money Chidambaram owes her father. Seetha Lakshmi starts to acquire a liking for Mathi but keeps it hidden due to her father's atrocious temper. In an attempt to teach Kalingarayar a lesson, Mathi forcibly ties the mangalsutram around Seetha's neck. Kalingarayar, realizing his daughter's love for Mathi, comes down to arrange a grand re-marriage between the two. But things go awry when Manicka Vel (Biju Menon), Seetha Lakshmi's maternal uncle, comes to town in an effort to stop the wedding between the two as he has plans of marrying her and wiping her family fortune.

They are forced to help a family who suffers at the hands of an influential local panchayat leader Kalingarayar (Murali). The story moves on as they (Adhi and Madhi) take on the feudal head. Madhi also ends up marrying Murali's daughter (Asin). There are the expected twists and turns and predictable misunderstandings between them before the climax. The trouble creator here is Manicka Vel (Biju Menon). The maternal uncle of Seetha, he plays spoil sport to stop her wedding with Madhi.

I'd like to remind you all the I am indeed completely insane. Well, it's finally done, 60+ hours worth of work. All of the mane songs from Season One by Daniel Ingram and plus a few more orchestrated. An entire Thanksgiving vacation killed by this project. I still can't believe I spent that much time on this project, I don't think I will ever do it again unless this song gets like 100000 views. At the Gala was alone a 15 hour project. Anyways, I decided about a week and a half ago I was gonna orchestrate all the mane songs of Season 1, what I didn't realize was that the song was gonna be twenty minutes long and take so much time to make. When I got to Winter Wrap Up I decided to give each of the mane 6 their own instrument. Twilight: String Section (She's the mane character, she get's the mane section) Pinkie Pie: Horns (She may be light but she is very outspoken, just like the horn section) Fluttershy: Mallet Percussion (She resembles the section that is not as often heard, but when it is heard, it is a thing of beauty) Applejack: Trombones (She resembles the muscle of the group, so do the trombones) Rainbow Dash: Trumpets (She is light and agile and quick, just like trumpets) Rarity: Woodwinds (Elegance is Rarity, need more be said?) Something a little different the other stuff I have on my channel, concentrating on doing big damage. So, the 'tech' in the combos/clips comes from clever meter management and optimizing stuff to make the most of damage scaling. Something else a little different to my usual way of doing things is that I'm going to upload kind of rough sketch combo ideas + variations (for damage, positioning or ease of use) everyday. Including, transcripts and training mode info. The full video will hopefully be well worth the wait as there's some very silly editing ideas going into it (that I'll actually introduce in these 'combo-a-day things) and a new SF remix being put together for the soundtrack. Look out for a 899 damage solo ken combo and the current most amount of Steve HPs ever combo'd together without gems in upcoming days.
