"It is not a new state. It is at once recognized as the original, basic existence, which is life itself, and also love and joy." (Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj) Mooji often quotes Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, and although I do not read much these days, I do have this book. I was looking through it earlier and was contemplating "Is it any wonder we cherish our beloved Mooji so much, and listen as clearly as we can to that which he speaks? " Maharaj says "The very meeting of a guru is the assurance of liberation." (p 101) and "Insanity is universal. Sanity is rare. Yet there is hope, because the moment we perceive our insanity, we are on the way to sanity. This is the function of the Guru to make us see the madness of our daily living. Life makes you conscious, but the teacher makes you aware." (p 282). And both Mooji and Maharaj tell us that our greatest guru is our own inner self. None-the-less, the Grace of the guru is the Grace itself we are blessed with, and we are also truly blessed to have their fingers point us back to our own selves. I am so grateful that Mooji and his team supply the satsang footage for these videos because this body may never attend a (live) satsang who knows? This channel is internet-satsang for me. There have been a number of times in the past when I have told a few people that I am taking some time off (if you want to make God laugh, tell him/her your plans). Videos happen when they happen. Nisargadatta, Tutto è immaginazione La persona è solo il risultato di un equivoco. in realtà non esiste. Sentimenti, pensieri e azioni corrono davanti all'osservatore in successione senza fine, lasciando delle tracce nell cervello e creando l'illusione di continuità. In realtà non c'è nessuna persona, c'è solo l'osservatore che si identifica con l'"io" e il "mio". Il maestro dice all'osservatore: tu non sei questo, non c'è nulla di tuo in ciò, tranne l'"io sono": il puntolino che fa da ponte tra l'osservatore e il suo sogno. "Io sono questo", "io sono quello" è sogno, mentre l'"io sono", puro e semplice ha impresso su di se il marchio della realtà (...). Domanda: Se vengo eliminato cosa rimane? Risposta: Nulla e tutto. Rimarrà il senso dell'identità, ma non più l'identificazione con un corpo particolare. L'essere-consapevolezza-amore splenderanno come un'unica luce. La liberazione non è mai della persona, è dalla persona. Domanda: E non resta traccia della persona? Risposta: Solo un vago ricordo, come quella di un sogno o del primissimo tempo d'infanzia. Dopotutto che c'è da ricordare? Un flusso di eventi perlopiù accidentali e insignificanti. Una sequela di desideri, paure e inani sbagli. C'è qualcosa che valga la pena di ricordare?
