Nikon D4 HD D-Movie - WHY ATHLETES [NEW]
Multi-area Mode Full HD D-movie with three image area options A dedicated movie-record button has been positioned near the shutter-release button for smooth starting and stopping of movie recording with a feel similar to that of still-image shooting. Full-HD movie recording at a frame size of 1920 × 1080 and frame rate of 30 fps is supported, and the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC video compression method has been adopted. Movies up to 29 minutes 59 seconds can be recorded. Image sensor sensitivity begins at ISO 200 and can be expanded to ISO 204800 equivalent possible with still-image shooting. Full-HD movies can be recorded with the D4 using one of three image areas: FX-based movie format, DX-based movie format, or 1920 × 1080 crop; all available at 30 fps/ 25 fps or 24 fps. FX-based movie format makes full use of the large image sensor, enabling movies with an emphasis on pleasing blur characteristics. When a DX lens is attached, DX-based format is automatically selected. This format is useful for creating an extension to the focal length of an existing lens. For an even stronger telephoto effect, the 1920 × 1080 crop format brings an approximately 2.7x crop of the picture angle while delivering outstanding video quality and detail, obtaining 1080p Full HD. By choosing the movie format appropriate for the particular scene, the three image area options available with a single camera enable more flexible imaging expression through collaboration with the entire NIKKOR lens lineup ...

Multi-Area Mode Full HD D-Movie -- Recording Movies Using One Of Two Formats The D800 records movies with superior resolution through optimal information processing acquired from the 36.3-million pixel image sensor. Users can record 1920 × 1080p/30-fps full-HD movies using either the FX-based movie format or the DX-based movie format according to shooting conditions. The FX-based movie format offers a shallow depth-of-field with an emphasis on blur characteristics, while the DX-based movie format brings subjects closer when lenses with short focal lengths are used. The camera is also equipped with a headphone jack and supports precise adjustment of microphone sensitivity. In addition, users can play back movies or view the live recording of movies simultaneously via the camera's monitor and on an external monitor. Nikon D3200 Review: Release date, Price, Specs
The Nikon D3200 joins Nikon's existing product line-up siting just above the entry level D3100. It features a massive 24.2 million pixel APS-C CMOS sensor, and as all new Nikon releases such as the NIkon V series, D800 and D4 includes the new Expeed 3 processing engine. One of the big features for Nikon is the improved Guided Shooting mode which helps photographers who are just getting started with the settings that are needed to get certain types of images. Nikon D800 HDSLR Unboxing and Overview
Take an in-depth look inside the box of the Nikon D800 HDSLR ( $2999 MSRP), a 36.3 megapixel, full frame camera that also captures 1080 30p video. Featuring a magnesium-alloy weather-sealed body, dual SD and CF card slots, and advanced autofocus and metering systems, the D800 takes high-resolution to the next level. After the unboxing, digital camera expert Michael J. This may not mean that you are not getting great images it just means you are either tired of shooting what you have been shooting or your just not feeling it. As of late there has been a lot of pressure when shooting, its pressure that I put on myself. Some of the other pressure has come from all of the outside noise in regards to all of the analyzing of the new Nikon cameras including the Nikon D4. When I went out shooting with the D4 I felt that I was shooting each picture than trying to analyze it and compare it to the Nikon D3s. This was messing with my mind and I had to turn off all the noise and just shoot. The other day my long time friend Graham Colton came to town, played a live show in the loft and asked me if I would be shooting his show that night. At first I thought I would just go hang out and not take my camera. Than I flip flopped a few times until I decided that I should take my camera and take a fre pictures. froknowsphoto.com You always see side by side comparisons of new cameras and in this case I wanted to put the Canon 5D Mark III against the Nikon D800. Being that these cameras are not mine I decided to do a comparison of the boxes, sizes, buttons and feel. I have to say the 5D felt a ton better in my hands compared to the Nikon D800. With that said I have shot in the real world with the Nikon and had no issue with its feel at that time. When I do get a chance to use both of these cameras in the real world I will be sure to bring you those results. In the meantime I can see owning both cameras. I could see having a D800 to go with my Nikon D4 but I can also see picking up a Canon 5D Mark III to start building my Canon set up. I have been shooting with both of these camera for awhile and have been taking them both everywhere I go trying them in side by side in different lighting conditions, cloudy, mixed lighting, extreme low light, swimming pools, silhouettes, even time lapses, comparing skin tones, slow motion, landscapes, and pictures styles, and I think I have found some interesting stuff about these cameras that no one else is talking about. I've been wanting to buy a full frame camera for awhile now and I have waiting for the Canon 5D Mark III to come out, but now that Nikon has step up their game on the video side of things, there are two cameras to consider now. Are you an amateur like me wanting to step up to a full frame? In this video comparison I will be talking about this from the amateur level This is by far my most thorough comparison I have ever done since I will be buying one of these cameras.
