The Nerves - Hanging On The Telephone Original Release 1976 From The Nerves EP The Nerves were a mid-'70s power pop trio based in Los Angeles, California, featuring guitarist Jack Lee, bassist Peter Case, and drummer Paul Collins. All three members composed songs and sang. They managed a national tour, including a few dates with The Ramones, but they lasted just a short time and self-released only one self-titled four-song EP in 1976, featuring the songs "Hanging on the Telephone" (Lee), "When You Find Out" (Case), "Give Me Some Time" (Lee), and "Working Too Hard" (Collins). The Cars recently sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss Move Like This, their first album in 24 years, and explain why they had been away for so long. "At some point something kinda cracked around 1987 and I didn't like it as much," frontman Ric Ocasek says of rock stardom. "I kinda got into a whole anti-theatrical thing, I started feeling like I'd rather be writing music and making albums because it was easier, and because I could maybe grow up with the people I actually love to grow up with instead of never seeing anyone. New Wave Ramp at Rampworx
rampworx.com Over the past week the Rampworx team has been working day and night to put together this new ramp called "The Wave". The Wave was designed by Rampworx local and Etnies rider Anthony Watkinson. The ramp has an 18ft gap from the first hump to the 2nd. A whole host of tricks have already been pulled up and down the ramp by BMX, Rollerbladers and Skatebaorders. This is the 1st obstacle to be completed in the back section, stay tuned for the 2nd!
