Neglect formed in the spring of 1991 by former Vice Grip members Brian "Zoid" & Bones. They recruited John (also of Mind Over Matter) on Drums and friend Torn on Guitar. Derek Joined Neglect in Summer 1991, & one month later released a rehearsal demo. This included rehearsal versions of songs later recorded for the 91-92 demo like "MindGames", "Deluxe/Lost", and infamous songs like "Human Corpse Fuck". This gained them a fast following they soon recorded the 91-92 demo. This demo was raw, in your face demo showcased their mix of Hardcore & Metal which at the time was still very new, along with Brian's intense lyrics of hate & suicide put neglect immediately in a class all their own. Brain's words portrayed what makes this world fucked up, what makes you hate, his writing made the listener feel the pain! This demo, along with their intense, violent shows, along with Brian's powerful stage presence, from self inflicted bloodshedto knocking himself unconscience & splitting his head open onstage, Neglect was the band to see live. During this time Torn was asked to leave the band and kept as a 4 piece. French label Hardway Records was interested in releasing a 7" of Neglect. They recorded the now classics "LSS ", "No Tomorrow", as well as a 3rd track "You Deserve to Live" at the infamous Don Fury Studios. CRIMINAL NEGLECT OF 100 YEAR OLD AMAZING PEGGY LANDS HER IN HOSPITAL! ELDER ABUSE Mary Carr AMA
THE LAST TIME I SAW AMAZING 100 YEAR OLD PEGGY ALIVE!! Ever since I found out that Mary Carr-the head of the AMA American Medical Association in Ventura California, was supposed to be her "caretaker-power of attorney" but yet, unconscionably allowed Peggy to be infested by cockroaches, rats and even rat feces in her food! Mary Carr took Peggy's only comfy chair. She was wallowing in her own filth until a group of concerned citizens got involved to improve her horrible living conditions. When Mary Carr discovered that I was documenting the tragic and willful elder abuse of Peggy Ellen Pallant. Including one time I found her on the floor of her trailer, trapped, freezing and starving to death despite having millions of dollars in the bank that Mary could have used to better her situation. Peggy Ellen Pallant had the funds to live properly but gave away her power of attorney. By signing power of attorney to Mary Carr-which was like signing her death warrant because Mary did nothing to better Peggy's life-actually taking away her comfy chair as well, despite repeated pleas by us to have it returned. Mary Carr basically forced Peggy to live in horrible rat--cockroach infested conditions with NO healthy food! See for yourself-I can't make this up. I was shocked when I discovered that Mary Carr was supposed to be helping Peggy not letting her rot. On several occasions she complained that Peggy smelled of feces and she didn't want her in church-WHY NOT CLEAN HER DIAPER OR HIRE ...
Neglected Dog Picked Up Near Death
SAANICH - Her shockingly poor condition is enough to bring an animal lover to tears. The dog CRD Pound staff are calling "karma" is missing half her coat, and that's just for starters. "She's so underweight she's not filling out her skin anymore, all her hip bones are standing out, she's calloused all over from lying on hard surfaces, and she has infection in her eyes and ears and basically her whole body inside and out" says Kennel Assistant Kathleen Davis. The dog was picked up by Animal Control officers Sunday night off Millstream Lake Road in Highlands, covered with feces, and unable to stand. "She was too weak, I had to lift her in, I called Kathleen immediately after hours and we gave her a bath and fed her" says Animal Control Officer Tony Dobos. Pound staff feared she'd have to be euthanized but blood work the next day came back clear. The dog is about 14 kilograms underweight but gaining fast and responding to medication. Animal Control officers suspect "Karma" was neglected for years and possibly dumped because her owner didn't want to spend the money to put her down. "My theory is she was kept on a chain in someone's backyard and they released her figuring she won't live much longer" says Davis. The pound is hoping a neighbour who recognizes the dog, even in her weakened condition, may come forward anonymously and help the CRD and SPCA pursue charges of neglect. The Albert laterality score is the difference between the number of cancelled lines on the left and on the right (30 lines each). Dog with symptoms of unilateral neglect
My dog Barley had a stroke a few months back and since then has been displaying signs of unilateral neglect. I've written about it more here: statisticallysignificantscience.wordpress.com This video shows only the last few seconds of her eating but seems to suggest she is 'unaware' of the left hand side of the bowl. This is strange as you'd imagine her olfactory sense would tell her there is still more food. If only she walked back to the bowl from the other side she'd have realised!
