*Dedicated to my Japanese friend Hikaru..!! Video of my previous YT account. Shoko Nakagawa, born May 5, 1985 in Tokyo, is a Japanese idol, actress, seiyu (voice actor), illustrator and singer. She is the daughter of Katsuhiko Nakagawa, a celebrity in Japan in the 1980s. She is represented by the Watanabe Entertainment talent agency. Her nickname is Shokotan (In the blog by Mika Kaneda, who appeared with her on "Osama no Brunch", she is called Shokotasu).

The Nakagawa Laboratory is researching communication using visible light, an everyday phenomenon all around us. The Nakagawa Lab is a world pioneer in visible light communication. Professor Nakagawa and Professor Haruyama serve as Honorary Chairman and Chairman of the Visible Light Communication Consortium. Along with many businesses, the Consortium is working to standardize visible light communication. At Keio Techno-Mall in December 2009, there were demos of visible light communication, and the latest research results were presented. Q. Regarding the specifics of our research, the idea is to use the light you can see from LED lighting, traffic signals, and signs to send information. If that becomes possible, then because LED lighting is used in lots of places, people would be able to use a ubiquitous network. In one of the demos at Keio Techno-Mall, a robot was controlled using visible light communication. Position data is sent using visible light to control the robot, which has an image sensor as well as a light sensor. The robot can determine its own position, based on data about the position of the light source. Q. In this demo, the scenario is that these sensors are attached to a wheelchair, and position data is received from the LED lighting in a hospital, to guide the patient to a doctor. G7 meeting in Rome - Japan's Minister of Finance Drunk?
Japan's Minister of Finance, Shoichi Nakagawa, has blamed a heavy dose of cold medicine for a slurred and baffling performance at the G7 meeting in Rome, where the helmsman of the worlds second biggest economy appeared to be incapably drunk. Mr Nakagawa claimed to have taken only a few sips of wine no more than a glassful ahead of the news conference, but he seemed too addled to state correctly the current level of Japanese interest rates. Upon his return to Japan today the Finance Minister was greeted with immediate calls for his resignation by opposition MPs, who said the affair was an embarrassment to the country, and a shame that sent a message to the whole world. Yukio Hatoyama, Secretary-General of the main opposition Democratic Party, said: I think he should be fired immediately. He's damaged the national interest.
