EDIT - The Woman Has died due to the Injuries Sustained, confirmed dead on March 24th 2012 Innocent muslim mother of five beaten nearly to death, with doctors saying there is no chance of Survival. Assailants broke in to her home, and savagely beat her leaving her body in a pool of blood to be discovered by her 17 year old daughter, with a note saying "go back to your own country, you're a terrorist" El Cajon - A woman found beaten in the head with a tire iron, was hospitalized. Shaima Alawadi, 32, a mother of five, was found unconscious by her 17-year-old daughter on Wednesday around 11:15 AM A note telling her to "Go back home", was found at the residence. A family friend Sura Alzaidy, told the San Diego Union Tribune about the note, which authorities did not disclose. The note told the woman and the Alawadi family to "Go back to your own country. You're a terriorist". The woman is of Iraqi descent. 'Europe openly discriminates Muslims'
Amnesty International is concerned by a rising trend of discrimination against Muslims across Europe. The rights group says Muslim women in Europe are being denied jobs and girls prevented from attending classes just because of their form of dress, such as the headscarf. In a report, Amnesty called on European governments to do more to clear prejudices against Islam. The report was focusing on Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland. It also blasted bans on face-covering veils or the wearing of religious symbols in schools in some European countries. New reality show to document American Muslims
Reality TV welcomes a brand new program in the United States which follows the lives of American Muslims and makes its debut on Sunday. Aptly titled "All-American Muslim", the show documents five families living in Dearborn, Michigan, which happens to be one of the largest Arab-American communities in the country. The network in charge of the show, TLC channel, which produced shows like "John and Kate plus 8", says the aim of the show is to give a realistic perspective of Muslim culture. Members of the cast include a woman and her Irish Catholic fiancée who plans to convert to Islam, an event planner, and a high school football coach. Nader and Nawal Aoude are expectant newlyweds. Despite their enthusiasm, Nawal shares concerns they have about taking part in the show. "Being American-Muslims there is a watchful eye on the Muslim community and just that word in general, that word Muslim. So we were kind of nervous about the exposure." She hopes the show addresses common questions and misconceptions about her religion. "We're not here to represent Islam, were not here to represent anybody but ourselves, "I get questions for example, 'What does every color scarf mean? 'Like you know, when I wear different colors. Not every color means anything, I just like to coordinate. So there are a lot of questions and within "All-American Muslim" you'll see a lot of these questions answered." When the mothers of this Ummah watch in horror as their children die a slow agonizing death, who is there to help them? The agent rulers in the Muslim lands cannot help us as they do not represent us nor do they represent Islam. Foreign organizations such as the UN cannot help us as they are tools designed to help colonialist nations protect their interests in the Muslim lands.
