Mozart - Requiem
Requiem Mass in D Minor Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's final Masterpiece was commissioned in mid 1791 by the Austrian count Franz Von Walsegg, as a Tribute to the passing of his young wife Anna. Mozart began his final composition in Prague, suffering from an undetermined illness, which would eventually take his life and rob him of the chance to see the completion of his Magnum Opus. After Mozart's death, his understudy 'Franz Xaver Süssmayr', at the behest of Mozart's wife, completed the missing parts of the Requiem. Requiem Mass was first performed on January 2, 1793, in a private concert for the benefit of Mozart's grieving wife, Constanze Mozart. The Following are the lyrics, translated from their Original Latin Grant them eternal rest, Lord, and let perpetual light shine on them. You are praised, God, in Zion, and homage will be paid to You in Jerusalem. Hear my prayer, to You all flesh will come. Grant them eternal rest, Lord, and let perpetual light shine on them. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Day of wrath, day of anger will dissolve the world in ashes, as foretold by David and the Sibyl. Great trembling there will be when the Judge descends from heaven to examine all things closely. The trumpet will send its wondrous sound throughout earth's sepulchres and gather all before the throne. Death and nature will be astounded, when all creation rises again, to answer the judgment. A book will be brought forth, in which all will be ...

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart--Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
www.encognitive.com Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (IPA [ˈvɔlfgaŋ amaˈdeus ˈmoːtsart], baptized Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart) (27 January 1756 -- 5 December 1791) was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical era. His 600 compositions include works widely acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music. Mozart is among the most enduringly popular of classical composers, and many of his works are part of the standard concert repertoire. en.wikipedia.org
Mozart Symphony 41 K 551 - Molto Allegro
Woody Allen once said that Mozart's Symphony 41 proved the existence of God. Certainly, a symphony of such grandness and scale had, until the summer of 1788, never before been seen in the musical universe. Its implications for the direction of music in the future, and its influence on future composers is immeasurable. What makes Mozart's Jupiter symphony worthy to share the name of the most powerful god of the Roman world? The answer to this question comes in the Molto Allegro, and more specifically in its coda, (8:09-8:36). In the coda, Mozart takes the five musical themes or melodies that had been developed throughout the final movement, and does something that no one has ever achieved to the extent that he did, not even the illustrious Beethoven. What Mozart does is take these five themes and combines them to create a fugato in five-part counterpoint. That is, he takes the five melodies and simultaneously plays them in a variety of combinations and permutations. Imagine five separate melodies, all with their own notes, being played simultaneously, but each constantly changing. It's impossible for the human ear to focus on the enormous amount of notes that this simultaneous playing and constant changing entails. The effect is that the music seems to encompass an infinite amount of sound. With lesser two or three-part fugues, it is occasionally possible to sense everything that is going on. Once you get to four voices, it's nearly impossible to detect all of the nuances ...

Friedrich Gulda playing and conducting mozart piano concerto n°20 in d minor, K.466, first movement (allegro), with munich philharmonic orchestra. Recorded in Gasteig philharmonic hall in munich, in 1986, during the "munich piano summer" festival. he has his very own style, that some may dislike, but we cannot deny his musicality, though i think his sound is sometimes a little brutal. It's still a great pleasure to listen to and watch this video. we can see he has fun playing music, and the way he can play and conduct at the same time with such ease shows how much he has integrated the music. enjoy

Mozart " Requiem Dies Irae "
The Requiem Mass in D minor (K. 626) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was composed in 1791. The requiem was Mozart's last composition, and is one of his most popular and most respected works. There has been a debate over how much of the music Mozart managed to complete before his death, and how much was later composed by Franz Xaver Süssmayr, or possibly others.

Mashing up elements of all their beloved sounds into their unique blends, the precocious pair have created another dancefloor bomb in their aptly titled "Mozart" - featured on the recent "Anjunabeats Volume 9" compilation. A more house-slanted affair than the riotous, turbo-charged "Rebound", "Mozart" builds and builds through waves of old school piano rolls and new school synth surges before arriving at a climatic breakdown. Sizzling with energy and peak-time atmosphere, "Mozart" then turns on a clarion call of bright funk-fuelled synths that snap into a body-popping groove before an explosive drop. Directed by Ian Gamester, the official music video focuses on a street dance class that is run by a clueless drill sergeant style instructor - one who is unable to get the class performing with any real rhythm. When a cocky kid turns up with nothing more than a ghetto blaster and a tape cassette that has the word "Mozart" scrawled on it, noone is expecting much - but they are soon transfixed by his skills and eventually conducted by his magic powers. Composed By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. I'm Only 13 so leave helpful comments not spam. Thanks. Enjoy!!! (i wuz 11 when i did this) History on Mozart: Musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born to Leopold Mozart and his wife Anna Maria Pertl in Salzburg, Austria on January 27, 1756. Leopold Mozart was a successful composer and violinist and served as assistant concertmaster at the Salzburg court. Mozart and his older sister Maria Anna "Nannerl" were the couple's only surviving children, and their musical education began at a very young age. The archbishop of the Salzburg court, Sigismund von Schrattenbach was very supportive of the Mozart children's remarkable activities. By the time Mozart was five years old, he began composing minuets. The next year, he and his sister were taken to Munich and Vienna to play a series of concert tours. Both children played the harpsichord, but Mozart had also mastered the violin. In 1763, when Mozart was seven years old, his father took leave of his position at the Salzburg court to take the family on an extended concert tour of western Europe. Mozart and his sister performed in the major musical centers, including Stuttgart, Mannheim, Mainz, Frankfurt, Brussels, Paris, London, and Amsterdam. They did not return to Salzburg until 1766. Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor- Kyrie
This piece was written to be performed during the traditional Mass. Because the structure of the Ordinary of the Mass survived the Second Vatican Council, this piece may be performed at non-Latin Masses as well. The Ordinary of the Mass is as follows: 1. Kyrie - "Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy." 2. Gloria - "Glory to God in the Highest..." 3. Credo - "We believe in one God..." 4. Sanctus - "Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might..." 5. Benedictus - "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord..." 6. Agnus Dei - "Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world Mozart's Mass has been given the name "Great Mass" because, more so than any other work of the eighteenth century, it summarizes everything that had happened in religious music until its composition in 1782-1783. John Eliot Gardiner conducts the English Baroque Soloists and the Monteverdi Choir in the Kyrie of Mozart's Mass in C Minor, K.427.
Mozart - Symphony No. 25 in G Minor K183 - Mov. 1/4
WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART (1756-1791) Symphony for orchestra in G minor K183 1. Allegro con brio Performed by The English Concert Directed by Trevor Pinnock *This symphony was Mozart's first minor key symphony apart from the overture to "Betulia liberata". It is dated 5 October 1773. With its wide-leap melodic lines and brisk musical subjects, this symphony is characteristic of the "Sturm und Drang" style. By contrast, Mozart's only other minor key symphony, number 40 (also in G minor), is not typically viewed as part of this movement. This piece is widely known as the opening music in Miloš Forman's film "Amadeus".

A Saltzburg Festival performance, recorded in the Mozarteum, Saltzburg, 1989 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed this concerto in Salzburg, 1777. Though only 21 years old, he displayed great maturity and originality in what is regarded by many as his first great masterpiece. It was composed for a Mlle. The mix of dramatic and intense emotions, some seemingly mad and anguished with parts of joy and happiness suggest (one romantically feels) that Mlle.
