Seasons- New Mountain Bike Film teaser from the Collective
www.x-tremevideo.com Seasons is a film that follows seven of the world's top mountain bikers through the course of four seasons of one year. The film explores what it means to be a full time rider as told through the lives of downhill racers, slopestyle competitors, and big mountain freeriders. The main riders in the film are: Darren Berrecloth, Matt Hunter, Cam McCaul, Steve Peat, Andrew Shandro, Steve Smith, and Thomas Vanderham. There will also be some guest appearances by others who cross paths with the main seven riders. The Collective has been working on Seasons non-stop for the last twelve months, and is now in post production on the film, cutting together footage from multiple shoots with every rider, ranging from slopestyle competitions to World Cup downhill races, to epic backcountry freeride shoots. "The film has been a ton of work for everyone involved," says Jamie Houssian of The Collective, "so it's nice to finally see it come together in the studio. It's a new type of film for the action sports genre. We're stoked to show people something a little different". 50 MPH 8000W AWD Electric Offroad Mountain Bike First Drive
Dual motor e-bike reaching very fast speed of 47-48 mph in minimal space. Bicycle as seen is running at 5600W with 2WD. This bike does come with the option of running at 8000W or 5600W. We chose 5600W because we felt 8000W is not needed and just spins the tires needlessly and also puts added stress on components. The pull is quite amazing on this thing. This particular video is the first impressions of our first ride. The space we ran it is just slightly downhill but also around a bend so there is less than 350 feet to really get on the throttle. Later testing on flat ground yielded 50 MPH on GPS and Radar! Total system weight ready to ride is only 65 lbs! It's a bike that's designed for cross country all the way through to all mountain, and it's been loaned to me by the Brookvale Bike Factory. Anyway, I'm at the Manly Dam and I'm going to put this bike through its paces, so let's see how it goes. The transfer of muscle power through the wheels is delivered with minimal energy loss and stress on the body. You feel very powerful and confident on this bike in all conditions and situations. The rear suspension system is brilliant and its success is due to the combination of the ABP and the DRCV shock. ABP means active breaking pivot, basically it allows your suspension to remain active regardless of whether you're pedalling, coasting or braking. The DRCV shock has two air changes. The primary is for small bunts, high frequency and the secondary is for bigger hits. The upside is greater control, balance and stability in all conditions. What I experienced with (01 was the ability to attack technical climbs with ease, regardless of being in the saddle or standing. The wheel seemed to track and engage effortlessly with the terrain.
