What Makes a Mother
A tribute to mothers everywhere who do not have their babies with them. My DH and I have four babies in heaven now, including a set of twins. My husband's sister and her husband lost their three month old daughter to SIDS on Christmas Day 2006. Their pictures are also in this video. I have learned that this poem was written by Jennifer Wasik for a couple who lost their son, Zachery. Thank you Jennifer Wasik for your beautiful gift... so many people have been touched by this beautiful poem. I cry every time I read it. The music is called dreams, byt Eric and Leslie Ludy.

Apparently, someone in power also has some sense, and realized that allowing it to stay does nothing but promote their own artist (and sales of her recordings). Thank you! I only wish Warner Music Group would be so intelligent ... The following description was what I originally posted. I have since been repeatedly corrected. Yes, I should have done more research. But at the time, it was the first one-shot that I could recall. Anyway, this was what I first posted as a description: This is a groundbreaking music video in that it was filmed as a single shot, and (to the best of my knowledge) is the first to do that. It's a striking contrast to typical music videos, which often use more than a hundred shots edited together. I normally wouldn't post a clip like this, but nobody else seems to have a version in which the audio is synchronized with the video. (Even the original was a little wack, and I've done a tiny alteration to get the band in the living room AND Tracy's televised singing to line up with the sound. Usually you get one or the other.) Pure genius? "Atom Heart Mother" is a six-part suite by progressive rock band Pink Floyd, composed by all members of the band and Ron Geesin. It appeared on the Atom Heart Mother album in 1970, taking up a whole side of the record. It is Pink Floyd's longest uncut piece (the later "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", though longer, was split between two sides of Wish You Were Here.)
