Also see batgap.com Anthony Paul Moo-Young, known as Mooji, was born on 29 January 1954 in Port Antonio, Jamaica. In 1969, he moved to the UK and he is presently living in Brixton, London. Anthony worked in London's 'West end' as a street portrait artist for many years, then as a painter and a stained glass artist, and later as a teacher at Brixton College. For a long time, he was well known as Tony Moo, but is now affectionately known as Mooji* by the many seekers and friends who visit him. Mooji is a direct disciple of Sri Harilal Poonja, the renowned advaita master, or Papaji, as his followers call him. In 1987, a chance meeting with a Christian mystic was to be a life-changing encounter for Mooji. It brought him, through prayer, into the direct experience of the Divine within. Within a short period, he experienced a radical shift in consciousness so profound that outwardly, he seemed, to many who knew him, to be an entirely different person. As his spiritual consciousness awakened, a deep inner transformation began which unfolded in the form of many miraculous experiences and mystical insights. Can you find "you" ? Are there some coordinates we can follow to reach where you are ? Is there a "you" ? If there is space, is there some worry that it's not responsible to be like this ? Who will take care of my life ? How can I live like this if there's only space here ? Is there something inwardly that is interested in truth, along with football, shopping, etc ? Are you empty or full ? Is there a "you" that has an agenda, intention ? Is there a context for your existence that is important for a "you" ? Are you filled with noise ? Or do you not know what it means to be empty or full ? Are you finding you know nothing, and you are no thing ? Is there something that you need to salvage ? Are you burning too quickly ? Is self-consciouness holding you back ? Do you have an appointment with something that keeps freedom waiting ? Is it too costly to allow yourself to simply be ? Who will you disappoint ? Does later have more appeal than now ? Are you waiting to go beyond, or can you see that these are just ideas arising in what you are timelessly are ? If freedom is on one hand, what is in the other hand ? If you are already empty, then remain as you are. If you are not, contemplate this thing : can anything stand in your way in truth, or is this not merely imagined ?

mooji - Does the Self Evolve ?
If I am already Free, If there is no where to go, nothing to achieve, nothing to do, nothing to become, nothing more ... then .... what is this growth, blossoming, expansion, evolution ? The interest in being more fizzles out with advaita teachings. I Surrender but Existence does not accept it ! What to do ? Cow of Ramana Lakshmi was Liberated but I feel sorry for it because it did not get a chance to experience the human existence. Is there a process of evolution from a mineral to plant to animal to human to devine, or it is just all unchanging awareness ?
