Melancholy Man-The Moody Blues
The song Melancholy Man from the album A Question Of Balance. Lyrics: I'm a melancholy man, that's what I am, All the world surrounds me, and my feet are on the ground. I'm a very lonely man, doing what I can, All the world astounds me and I think I understand That we're going to keep growing, wait and see. When all the stars are falling down Into the sea and on the ground, And angry voices carry on the wind, A beam of light will fill your head And you'll remember what's been said By all the good men this world's ever known. Another man is what you'll see, Who looks like you and looks like me, And yet somehow he will not feel the same, His life caught up in misery, he doesn't think like you and me, 'Cause he can't see what you and I can see. When all the stars are falling down Into the sea and on the ground, And angry voices carry on the wind, A beam of light will fill your head And you'll remember what's been said By all the good men this world's ever known. Another man is what you'll see, Who looks like you and looks like me, And yet somehow he will not feel the same, His life caught up in misery, (Melancholy man) he doesn't think like you and me, (Very lonely man) 'Cause he can't see what you and I can see. I'm a melancholy man, (When all the stars are falling down) that's what I am (Into the sea and on the ground,) All the world surrounds me (And angry voices carry on the wind,) and my feet are on the ground I'm a very lonely man, (A beam of light will fill your head ...
The Moody Blues - The Story In Your Eyes
I've been thinking about our fortune And I've decided that we're really not to blame For the love that's deep inside us now Is still the same And the sound we make together Is the music to the story in your eyes It's been shining down upon me now I realize Listen to the tide slowly turning Wash all our heartaches away We're part of the fire that is burning And from the ashes we can build another day But I'm frightened for your children That the life that we are living is in vain And the sunshine we've been waiting for Will turn to rain Listen to the tide slowly turning Wash all our heartaches away We're part of the fire that is burning And from the ashes we can build another day But I'm frightened for the children That the life that we are living is in vain And the sunshine we've been waiting for Will turn to rain When the final line is over It's certain that the curtain's gonna fall I can hide inside your sweet sweet love For ever more

Pat Boone - Moody River (Original Stereo)
Pat's last #1 hit came with this brooding song in May of 1961. By the time the Beatles appeared on the scene, Pat Boone had simply stopped recording popular music, either as a result of the change in American musical tastes or a change in his own personal outlook on life.
Moody Blues: The Voice
Music of The Moody Blues. Won't you take me back to school? I need to learn the golden rule. Won't you lay it on the line? I need to hear it just one more time. Oh, won't you tell me again? Oh, can you feel it? Oh, won't you tell me again tonight? Each and every heart it seems, Is bounded by a world of dreams. Each and every rising sun, Is greeted by a lonely one. Oh, won't you tell me again? Oh, can you feel it? Oh, won't you tell me again tonight? Cause out on the ocean of life my love. There a so many storms we must rise above. Can you hear the spirit calling, as it's carried across the waves? You're already falling it's calling you back to face the music. And the song that is coming through. You're already falling the one that it's calling is you. My a promise take a vow. And trust your feelings it easy now. Understand The Voice within. And feel a change already beginning. Oh, won't you tell me again? Oh, can you feel it? Oh, won't you tell me again tonight? Tonight? Oh, won't you tell me again? Oh, can you feel it? Oh, won't you tell me again tonight? And how many words have I got to say? And how many times will it be this way? With your arms around the future and your back up against the past. You're already falling it's calling you on to face the music. And the song that is coming through. You're already falling the one that it's calling is you. Each and every heart it seems, Is bounded by a world of dreams. Each and every rising sun, Is greeted by, a lonely ...

New Horizons ~ Moody Blues
www.coloradream.com • www.coloradream.com From The Moody Blues Seventh Sojourn album in 1972 by Justin Hayward. Well I've had dreams enough for one And I've got love enough for three I have my hopes to comfort me I got my new horizons out to sea But I'm never going to lose your precious gift It will always be that way Cos I know I'm going to find my own peace of mind Someday... Where is this place that we have found Nobody knows where we are bound I long to hear, I need to see Cos I've shed tears too many for me But I'm never going to lose your precious gift It will always be that way Cos I know I'm going to find my own peace of mind Someday... On the wind soaring free Spread your wings I'm beginning to see Out of mind far from view Beyond the reach of a nightmare come true Well I've had dreams enough for one And I got love enough for three I have my hopes to comfort me I got my new horizons out to sea But I'm never going to lose your precious gift It will always be that way Cos I know I'm going to find my own peace of mind Someday... Moody Blues ~ You and Me
www.coloradream.com One of their greatest songs off the Seventh Sojourn album. There's a leafless tree in Asia Under the sun there's a homeless man There's a forest fire in the valley Where the story all began What will be our last thought? Do you think it's coming soon? Will it be a comfort Or the pain of a burning wound? All we are trying to say Is we are all we've got You and me just cannot fail If we never, never stop You're an ocean full of faces And you know that we believe We're just a wave that drifts around you Singing all our hopes and dreams We look around in wonder At the work that has been done By the visions of our father Touched by his loving son All we are trying to say Is we are all we've got You and me just cannot fail If we never, never stop All we are trying to say Is we are all we've got You and me just cannot fail If we never, never stop You and me just cannot fail If we never, ever, never, ever stop...
Moody Blues - Your Wildest Dreams
Once upon a time Once when you were mine I remember skies Reflected in your eyes I wonder where you are I wonder if you Think about me Once upon a time In your wildest dreams Once the world was new Our bodies felt the morning dew That greets the brand new day We couldn't tear ourselves away I wonder if you care I wonder if you still remember Once upon a time In your wildest dreams And when the music plays And when the words are Touched with sorrow When the music plays I hear the sound I had to follow Once upon a time Once beneath the stars The universe was ours Love was all we knew And all I knew was you I wonder if you know I wonder if you think about it Once upon a time In your wildest dreams And when the music plays And when the words are Touched with sorrow When the music plays And when the music plays I hear the sound I had to follow Once upon a time Once upon a time Once when you were mine I remember skies Mirrored in your eyes I wonder where you are I wonder if you Think about me Once upon a time In your wildest dreams In your wildest dreams In your wildest dreams

The Moody Blues-Nights In White Satin (Stereo, Remastered)
Original Video, but not the intro and outro....... Nights in white satin, never reaching the end, Letters I've written, never meaning to send. Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before. Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore. 'Cos I love you, yes I love you, oh how I love you. Gazing at people, some hand in hand, Just what I'm going through they can't understand. Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend, Just what you want to be, you will be in the end. And I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you. Nights in white satin, never reaching the end, Letters I've written, never meaning to send. Beauty I've always missed, with these eyes before. Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore. 'Cos I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you. 'Cos I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you. Breath deep The gathering gloom Watch lights fade From every room Bedsitter people Look back and lament Another day's useless Energy spent Impassioned lovers Wrestle as one Lonely man cries for love And has none New mother picks up And suckles her son Senior citizens Wish they were young Cold hearted orb That rules the night Removes the colours From our sight Red is gray and Yellow white But we decide Which is right And Which is an Illusion More lyrics: www.lyricsfreak.com

Are You Sitting Comfortably ~ Moody Blues
www.coloradream.com • From the album On The Threshold Of A Dream, 1969 Are You Sitting Comfortably By Ray Thomas and Justin Hayward A wonderful classic of the Moody Blues, considered one of the bands all time favorites and still performed live today. I remember seeing for the first time live in 1970 and knowing then that this band has an insight and connection to spirit. For those that know the album, this song has an abrupt ending...hence I have it followed by the second part of, "Have you Heard" by Mike Pinder. Take another sip my love and see what you will see, A fleet of golden galleons, on a crystal sea. Are you sitting comfortably? Let Merlin cast his spell. Ride along the winds of time and see where we have been, The glorious age of Camelot, when Guinevere was Queen. It all unfolds before your eyes As Merlin casts his spell. The Seven Wonders of the World he'll lay before your feet, In far-off lands, on distant shores, so many friends to meet. Are you sitting comfortably? Let Merlin cast his spell. Have You Heard (part 2) By Mike Pinder Now you know how nice it feels, Scatter good seed in the fields. Life's ours for the making, Eternity's waiting, waiting, For you and me. Now you know that you are real, Show your friends that you and me Belong to the same world, Turned on to the same word, Have you heard? Have you heard? Have you heard? Have you heard? Have you heard?

The Moody Blues are an English rock band. That's what I am, All the world surrounds me, And my feet are on the ground. I'm a very lonely man, Doing what I can, All the world astounds me, And I think I understand. That we're going, To keep growing, Wait and see. When all the stars are falling down, Into the sea and on the ground, And angry voices carry on the wind. A beam of light will fill your head, And you'll remember what's been said, By all the good men this world's ever known. Another man is what you'll see, Who looks like you and looks like me, And yet somehow he will not feel the same. His life caught up in misery, He doesn't think like you and me, 'Cos he can't see what you and I can see. A beam of light will fill your head, And you'll remember what's been said, By all the good men this world's ever known.
