Kyra Gracie vs. Alexis Davis Grappling Highlights
At the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo in Long Beach, California, a super fight was held between black belt Kyra Gracie and MMA bantamweight Alexis Davis. Davis, a brown belt under Cesar Gracie, made multiple armbar attempts, but was unable to submit Gracie. Kyra Gracie would go on to win the match on points. First off, Zach Arnold with Fight Opinion joined Mauro to talk about the latest from Japan with UFC 144 just days away. He also gave us an update on the broadcasting situation for the Japanese fans. Next up, Canadian lightweight TJ Grant jumped on to talk about his latest fight against Carlo Prater at UFC on FUEL 3 in May. Del Rosario has recently signed with the UFC and will make his octagon debut in May at UFC 146 against former UFC heavyweight title challenger Gabriel Gonzaga. Del Rosario also gave Mauro an update on his health following a car crash he was involved in nearly a year ago. The owner and founder of the American Kickboxing Academy Javier Mendez was the final guest on the docket as he talked about Kyle Kingsbury, an AKA alum, being matched up with Brazilian prospect Glover Teixeira.
