Ridiculous Seattle Police Misconduct
I crossed at a crosswalk at the last second of the 'walk' sign...I then ran to get to the other side safely. A police officer in a patrol car was parked at the light and purposefully stepped on the gas in what I can only assume was an attempt to strike me (he admits to doing this in the video). I jumped out of the way and asked him what the hell he's doing...he rolled his window down and told me to come over. I said no, I did nothing wrong, you have no right to detain me, and I walked away. He peels out (and almost hit some people, according to one witness) and stops next to me and gets out with a wooden club and tells me 'DON'T FUCKING MOVE.' This is where the video starts..

This girl's father is having a seizure on the floor and the 911 operator hangs-up on her because she curses?! Aren't these people trained to deal-with callers who might be frightened or hysterical? Aren't they supposed to try to calm frantic callers and comfort them? This is what happens when you have a cop on the other-end of the line. He absolutely HAS to prove his point. He HAS to assert his authority over this frantic citizen. He actually hangs-up on her refusing to help because she cursed. When she calls back, HE curses at her! "Are you gonna swear again you stupid @ss b!tch?" Then when he finally calls emergency responders (another cop, not even an ambulance, even though she requested one at-least 4 times) he claims he couldn't ever find-out what the emergency was because he "couldn't get through her comments". WEIRD! I thought is was because he kept hanging-up on her. When she has to go to the station herself to get help they ARREST her! Unfortunately this attitude of "I'm always right, no-matter what, everyone should always respect me and do exactly what I tell them to!" is WAY too prevelent amongst our police forces. Don't question them, don't film them, don't "disrespect" them in any way, or this might happen to you. If this video makes you angry be sure to "thums up", subscribe and share.
