Milhaud takes a different vantage point with a jazz-inflected ballet based on an African creation story. Percussionist Martin Grubinger performs Avner Dorman's Frozen in Time, a work the composer calls "an imaginary snapshot of the Earth's geological developments from prehistoric times to the present day."
