MGMT was not involved in the making of this video, however, they became involved down the line. The story goes like this: December 2007: Rushing to make a due date for a USC Music Video class, I ask my friends Raf and Abby to appear in my video. I like the way they bounce off of each other despite completely different personality types, and think they both have interesting faces. Raf didn't want to shave so I didn't push him. We shot in one night, I cut overnight, turn it in and call it the worst thing I've done so far. January 2008: On a whim one night while visiting home in Austin, Texas, I throw the video on Youtube just for kicks. April 2008: Ray Tintori, who has directed 3 official videos for MGMT, finds my fan video online and invites myself and my two actors to come to New York to appear in MGMTs next official video for Electric Feel. May 2008: We go to New York and have a great time on the set with the band and all their friends.

If anyone's a bit confused as to the goings on at the beginning of the video, the vent in the auditorium kept pushing the doors open, and Kaleb couldn't refrain from trying (unsuccessfully) to close them. 'Welcome to the asylum,' indeed! Unfortunately Marquis & Mr. Eberle weren't around for the proceedings, but the kids compensated by singing the verses a bit more tenderly than usual, which makes this version a fine alternate to our previously posted vid!

Here is the new PS22 Chorus of 2011 singing the incredible (and appropriately titled) song, "Kids" by MGMT, and to say the group knocked it out of the park would be the understatement of the year!! We all truly had a blast with it, especially with Marquis adding that extra adrenalin kick with some amazing drumming. He worked out his part in just 15 minutes the day before we recorded it, demonstrating that the children at PS22 are indeed multi-talented! So congratulations to the "Kids" on one of the most exciting PS22 Chorus performances to date!!

Music video for MGMT's new song 'Congratulations', off their new album Congratulations. The music video is filmed in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona, a part of the country that desperately needs some enlightenment about what is going on in the world. Please note, this is the unofficial video for the song. My final project for my documentary class. I was asked to do something that tied together all the documentaries we had watched. So with the help of Kyle Ferchau, Jon Lewis, and Sam Saenz, I was able to make a film about passing on the information that you hear in documentaries and spreading the knowledge.
