That's why the recording you hear is so clean and crisp - and the sound is actually surprisingly good in the Copenhagen metro. We did this deliberately because we feel that a good sound experience is vital when trying to portray the actual experience that day. Further to the main recording, when the train was standing still, the recordings from the cameras was, as far as possible, mixed into the sound. Quote from the sound technician: I recorded the sound with XY Oktava MK-012 supercardioid microphones close to the soloists and a set of DPA 4060 omnidirectional microphones as overhead for the rest of the orchestra. For some of the closeupshots, the cameramikes (Sennheiser ME 66) was added.

An energetic freshman student will always be remembered, as the boy who lived. I did not film this, but was present at the epic foam sword fight. Update: No buses present in this video were fatally injured. www.statesman.com Bus driver running a red light: CONFIRMED; I will be posting that video soon. The student, Nick, is fine and was released from the hospital around 3:45PM the same day, May 4th, 2012. I also feel the need to clarify the situation to those unfamiliar with the roads around UT campus. This sword fight took place on Guadalupe St just in front of the Co-op. The "crosswalk", is understood to be the entire section in between the two striped areas. Nick was wearing an Obama mask. Remember kids, always look both ways
Refuge
An RV is nestled among the brush in the desert. Silence is broken by one alarming gunshot. Moments later, Darryl, a high school teacher, astride his motorcycle is seen. Ready to toss his failed first novel into a landfill, he stops and pulls it out of his satchel. His motorcycle sputters and is out of fuel. He spies the lone RV, and goes over to get help. The van seems to be vacant. The door is unlocked and he steps inside to take shelter. As he finishes a phone call with his fiancée, promising to be on time for their engagement party that evening, Amelia emerges from the bedroom with gun in hand. Over Amelia's shoulder Darryl sees a bloody, lifeless man. Realizing Darryl has seen too much, Amelia announces that he will be her traveling companion. As the RV leaves its mooring, a dead body decomposes in the back, a novel shrinks up in the front and two lost souls seek refuge and redemption on New Mexico's back roads. Metro Expo Line eastbound cab ride -- La Cienega to 7th/Metro
Friends 4 Expo and Light-Rail for Cheviot, the grassroots groups that advocated the planning and construction of the Expo Line, ride it 18 days before it opens, during its prerevenue operation. The video is from the cab of an eastbound three-car Nippon Sharyo train, which departs the La Cienega Station and arrives the 7th Street / Metro Center Station in Downtown Los Angeles. The ride starts at the aerial La Cienega Station, then come the aerial La Brea Station next, then the at-grade Farmdale, Crenshaw, Western, Vermont, Expo Park / USC, Jefferson/USC, 23rd Street, and Pico Stations, respectively, and it ends at the underground 7th Street / Metro Center Station. The train operator spends extreme caution on safety, carefully looking at the surroundings and slowing down for any hazards near the tracks. Interestingly, at the Expo Line - Blue Line junction, the northbound Expo Line train waits for a northbound Blue Line train. The Expo Line train then waits for two trains at the platforms of the 7th Street / Metro Center Station. This train congestion results in a 9-minute delay to the schedule, with the trip taking 34 minutes instead of the scheduled 25 minutes. Video date and time: Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 12.36 pm.
