Quick Correction: On the last video, I said that Robert Monroe called it "M-Band Noise". Actually, it's "H-Band Noise". I will edit the video to include this correction. A car that was in your blind spot speeds up and beeps the horn, but you don't notice it until the car is up on you. If you could hear, you would be able to move out of the way a whole lot quicker. Well, the higher senses are like that. Bruce Lee said it best. Be like water friend. Water can displace and it can be displaced. It can change form and be added to form. It can mix and it can separate. The possibilities are endless with water. So, we should be "water with higher consciousness". What I have presented in this video is simple, but our present environment is making us increasingly less aware of very simple truth. Complex concepts are based on simple truths. His contributions to metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and aesthetics have had a profound impact on almost every philosophical movement that followed him. This article focuses on his metaphysics and epistemology in one of his most important works, The Critique of Pure Reason. A large part of Kant's work addresses the question "What can we know?" The answer, if it can be stated simply, is that our knowledge is constrained to mathematics and the science of the natural, empirical world. It is impossible, Kant argues, to extend knowledge to the supersensible realm of speculative metaphysics. The reason that knowledge has these constraints, Kant argues, is that the mind plays an active role in constituting the features of experience and limiting the mind's access only to the empirical realm of space and time. Kant responded to his predecessors by arguing against the Empiricists that the mind is not a blank slate that is written upon by the empirical world, and by rejecting the Rationalists' notion that pure, a priori knowledge of a mind-independent world was possible. Reason itself is structured with forms of experience and categories that give a phenomenal and logical structure to any possible object of empirical experience. Six systems (Samkhya, Yoga, Vedanta, Mimamsa, Nyaya, and Vaiseshika) belong to the Astika Darsana, the term Darsana literally meaning "vision," vision of the Absolute Truth. Astika means theist. On the other hand, Charvaka (materialism), Jainism and Buddhism, for instance are termed Nastika, ie not based on the Vedas. Each of the four Vedas (Rig, Yajur, Saman and Atharvan) is again divided into four sections, namely, Samhita (collection of hymns), Brahmanas (treatises on sacrifices and rituals), Aranyakas ("forest books" for hermits about sacrifices and contemplation), and the Upanishads, dealing with deeper metaphysics and theosophical speculations. Reincarnation (samsara) is the practical way in which one reaps the fruits of one's deeds. The self is forced to enter a new material existence until all karmic debt is paid - "By means of thought, touch, sight and passions and by the abundance of food and drink there are birth and development of the (embodied) self. According to his deeds, the embodied self assumes successively various forms in various conditions" (Shvetashvatara Upanishad 5,11). MetaTV: The Metaphysics of THE IMMORTALS
The film depiction of the Immortals, which stars Henry Cavill (as Theseus) pitted against Mickey Rourke (as the God-King Hyperion) hearkens back to the end of the Age of Taurus (4100 - 2100 BC) to tell of a mortal who was able to subdue a God-King of Olde toward cementing a future for his people and taking his place among the Gods himself. My video does not go into details about how the Age of Gemini gave way to the Age of Taurus or how Taurus gave way to the age of Aries and how all of that is connected. I will leave the subject of precessional progression and how it all relates to another wizard. What I will say is - this movie should resonate deep in the DNA code of anyone watching it who is on an ascension path, because it tells the story of a man who attempts to ascend into immortality from the lowest strata of society. In a Day and Age such as this, tales like the one told in the Immoetals stand to strengthen our resolve to be the best we can be. I find it interesting that Zeus said he had faith in Theseus. It is reminiscent of the story of Job, where God tried Job and against all odds he prevailed. This is what we are faced wit htoday...against all odds - can we succeed?
