No other TV game held quite the thrill and suspense of Snake-In-A-Can. Wonderama aired on weekends in NY on WNEW-TV. It started out as a six-hour show, later shrinking to an equally unreasonable four hours. Two-to-three of these hours were shots of kids waving their arms; the rest of the program had exciting games like this one, where many contestants were too short to be seen. Gospel singer and composer Judith Christie McAllister's love of music was first inspired by her mother, the pianist for their church. Soon, McAllister began studying the piano herself, a skill that clearly transferred over to her work as an adult as leader and later musical director at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in California. After she founded her own label, Judah Music, McAllister released her debut album, Send Judah First, in 2001, which was followed two years later with Raise the Praise. "Worship is the destination that we reach through our vehicle of praise and it is in my initial function as worship leader, I find my purpose, which is to lead the people into the presence of God." "It's so important to know that people can live in His presence, outside of the traditional worship service," she said. "I hope that people can catch a sense of what it is like to be in His presence ... these are reflective, sing along songs that each believer, regardless of skill level, can offer the Lord and enter into His presence - That is what God desires of each of us." Moving McAllister Starring John Heder
"Moving McAllister" is an on-the-road comedy that proves that a mismatched pair can find love in all the wrong places. Story centers on Rick Robinson (Ben Gourley), a lowly intern at a prestigious Miami law firm who dreams of becoming a partner one day. Eager to impress, he agrees to help the firm's top lawyer, Maxwell McAllister (Rutger Hauer), with a favor he really cannot afford. Just five days before the bar exam, Rick finds himself in charge of moving McAllister's dearest possession across the country: his seductive, yet untouchable niece Michelle (Mila Kunis). In a less than stellar moving van, the mismatched pair begins their cross-country journey. Along the way they encounter numerous obstacles and unforgettable characters, like free-spirited hitchhiker Orlick Prescott Hope (Jon Heder), who all contribute to slowing down the journey much to Rick's dismay. However, through the experience, Rick begins to see that there's more to life than becoming a successful lawyer.
