Ad theme music - Get This Party Started Singer/Musician - Shirley Bassey Actors - Twiggy, Erin O'Connor, Laura Bailey, Noemie Lenoir, Elizabeth Jagger, Shirley Bassey With a James Bond theme supermodel Erin O'Connor is doing a photo-shoot by London Bridge when she gets a call, Noemie Lenoir is reading a book at home as she also gets a call, then Twiggy gets a call while she is having a meal. Then snow-bikes are seen speeding over a snow covered landscape before pulling up a huge Crystallised building, the first rider pulls her helmet off and it's model Elizabeth Jagger, the next is Noemie Lenoir and on the end is Erin O'Connor. Twiggy arrives on a sleigh and has Christmas presents delivered. Inside the Crystal hotel the models each open Twiggy's presents and are getting ready for the party. As they walk down the staircase to the party the singer is revealed as Shirley Bassey performing her version of Pink's Get This Party Started.

This is the fantastic new Christmas Advert for Marks and Spencer (M&S) which features 2011's X Factor Finalists singing the fantastic Disney classic 'When You Wish Upon A Star' The 2011 M&S Christmas advert ran for the first time on Sunday 6th November during the X Factor double eviction programme featuring the finalists from the show itself. The remaining 9 acts performed a new Christmas song "When you Wish Upon A Star" in the advert that runs right up until the X Factor final week in December 2011. The 9 finalists sang a new christmas remake of the 1940 song "When You Wish Upon A Star", from Disney cartoon Pinocchio. Finalists who featured include Craig Colton, Janet Devlin, Marcus Colins, Frankie Cocozza, Little Mix, The Risk, Johnny Robinson, Kitty Brucknell and Misha Bryan who closes the advert. ITM Power: UK's first hydrogen materials handling trial with M&S.
Using the ITM Power HFuel platform to generate hydrogen, the six week trial involves M&S using several fuel cell vehicles as a direct substitute for part of the existing battery powered fleet. The vehicles were deployed at M&S's 1.1million sq. ft. Prologis Park Distribution Centre. The trial forms part of the M&S Plan A initiative, and aims to deliver zero emission vehicles with superior performance and a fast refuel time. The trial is the first of its kind in the UK and demonstrates the cutting edge vision of M&S and ITM Power. www.itm-power.com

This Christmas, to make the traditional Christmas dinner with a twist, take plump prawns but add a bloody Mary sauce for the perfect prawn cocktail. For the turkey, stuff with clementines and lemon to flavour. Infuse with butter and season with a trio of peppers. But keep the juices in by cooking in a roasting bag so that the meat stays tender and succulent before gently tearing the fruits for the gravy. Next, the vegetables. Try roasting British carrots with beetroot in a balsamic glaze. Finally, the Christmas pudding. Use glacé cherries and almonds before adding the brandy and port soaked mixture. It's about getting customers to recycle unwanted clothes every time they shop at M&S. Bring in something old, buy something new. Swap and shop. You see the thing about shopping or, kind of going shopping, a lot of people use it as something...a kind of feeling of a change in their life, they want a change, they want something to happen. You know you've bought something, you don't really need more of it. But if you've got rid of something, nature abhors a vacuum - so you feel you've got to buy something. Well that's brilliant on the retail side of it, because it means that you give something away and you automatically want to feel rewarded. Tragic. You know when it's time to shwop. The idea that you haven't hoarded, you've simply exchanged - you've simply shwopped, I think it's brilliant. Very exciting. So the whole sense of bringing stuff back to M&S is not alien, you're quite used to coming into M&S with a bag because it might be something that you want to exchange for a different size, or somebody has given you something in a colour that doesn't suit you and you want to swap it for another thing. To people coming into M&S with stuff, this is something that is a tradition already. I want shwopping to become as normal as - really, like putting a bottle in a bottle bank.
