MALTHUS AND POPULATION : TEN MINUTE GUIDE
A ten minute guide to the 18th/19th century English classical economist Malthus and his theory of population. Produced for the history and context of journalism course at the University of Winchester, as part of a phase of study about the 19th century.
6. Malthusian Times
Global Problems of Population Growth (MCDB 150) In many regions, the central cultural idea is that of a lineage, a family and its line of male ancestors and descendants. The prime duty in these cultures is to keep the lineage going. Religion is small scale with the ancestors performing many of the functions of gods. Denser populations and larger political entities lead to large-scale religion where conformity is stressed and cultural rules are codified in a book and not subject to discussion with the ancestors. In pre-modern Sub-Saharan Africa, land was not limiting, so a maximum number of children was desired. Neither monogamy nor chastity were valued as much as fertility. Families were not nuclear; husbands and wives did not engage in many activities together; children were often raised by other members of the village and women had the responsibility for economic support of the children. In many areas of Sub-Saharan Africa, farming is the work of women. Women often prefer men with resources which leads to polygamy. Women in polygamous relationships form support groups for each other and men enjoy the fruits of several women's labor and children. In temperate regions, the land eventually fills up and the dangers of overpopulation come to the fore. Peasants are miserably poor. Massive epidemics (the Black Death, 1347 and onward) and wars (the Catholic-Protestant wars, 1562-1648) can kill a third of the population. 00:00 - Chapter 1. 2. Thomas Malthus and Inevitable Poverty
Capitalism: Success, Crisis and Reform (PLSC 270) Professor Rae shows how countries over the last two centuries have experienced improved life expectancies and increased incomes per capita. Dynamic graphical representation of this trend reveals how improved life expectancies tend to predate increases in wealth. Malthus' "iron law of wages" and diminishing returns are explained. Questions about why the industrial revolution occurred in England at the time that it did are then posed. Professor Rae then shows the importance of the "world demographic transition" to economic history and contemporary economics. All countries tend to follow similar demographic patterns over the course of their economic development. Countries tend to have high birth and death rates in Phase I, falling death rate and high birth rate in Phase II, falling birth rate to meet the death rate in Phase III, and low birth and death rates in Phase IV. These demographic patterns are associated with different levels of capital and labor. While all countries follow this demographic transition, they do so at different times, and world trade is a way of "arbitraging" between different stages in the world demographic transition. 00:00 - Chapter 1. Bilderberg: Malthus on steroids - Daniel Estulin
Bilderberg sleuth and best-selling author Estulin provides a photo review of some Bilderbergers (et al), past and present, with comment on the 'Muslim threat' (nonsense, a Big Lie), the UN (under the control of the BBs & the world's self-appointed elite), Noam Chomsky (left gatekeeper), Putin (wants what's Russia's for Russia), depleted uranium (one of the [BB's] ways of getting rid of populations). Peak Oil is Malthus's wet dream. Capitalism's 1st Shill was Parson Malthus. The photo of the Three Monkeys criminals photo ('Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil') Sec. of State Madeleine Albright, Sec. of Defense William Cohen and Bilderberg wonderboy Bill Clinton is illustrative of their contempt. Garrett Hardin on Malthus, Darwin and Natural Selection
Garrett Hardin interview on Malthus, Darwin and Natural Selection. althus observed that population grows at an exponential rate, while environmental use grows at an arithmetic rate. Darwin is misunderstood in the US, but not in Europe. Darwin's theory had two components: evolution and natural selection. Evolution is a historical question - the evidence is historical. You can't settle historical questions with as much certainty. Natural selection is a scientific question that has been proved time after time. Ecologically, everything is connected - but that doesn't mean you like all the connections. "The maximum is seldom, or never, the optimum." "There is no way in a finite environment that you can satisfy a need, the growth of which is uncontrollable." Ted the Terrible - Malthusian Ted Turner - Anthony J Hilder
Ted Turner, Prince Philip, Jaques Cousteau, Thomas Malthus want to reduce the population of the planet in their time because we are using too much "stuff" as Ted Turner puts it. Look at the Georgia Guidestones commandment for us written in stone. Saving The Earth is far more important than saving the lives of the Useless Eaters living on it. If there were less people on the Earth there would be more resources for the rest of us .... who are more important. Read between the lines here. Some people believe this and would carry out the Final "Solution" to the Population Problem, Pollution Problem, and Scarce Resources Problem. When there are a lot less people....there are more resources to go around and less pollution! This is their thinking. Malthusian Mentality
This is a simple compilation of video to show a clue about Schwarzenegger's real feelings about Humanity. As you listen to them back to back, it will sound as if he spoke the words in the same sentence. Those two phrases were spoken about 15 years apart from each other. "It's in your nature to destroy yourselves" was spoken in the movie Terminator 2 (1991). "Man is a self inflicted wound" was spoken in 2006 when Schwarzenegger was governor of California. Both phrases sound like they belong in the same sentence. Is is only a coincidence when reality and fiction match?

This lecture uses Malthusian Theory to measure the rate of technological advance in the world 100000 BC to 1800 AD, and shows it was dramatically slower than in the modern world (chapter 7).
EUGENICS: Malthus, Darwin, Sanger, HG Wells, CG Darwin (FULL)
The banker boys who run the world see you all as mere human resources, to be optimized and made efficient. In the new "global economy", everything is run on multinational cartels and monopolies, owned by the same handful of shareholders. So, competition is slowly going out the window -- the new rules are 'global cooperation' and 'harmonization'. In the global economy, production and distribution is 'optimized', meaning it's centralized in a few hubs. As such, human resources are also optimized. On the one hand, there will no longer be the necessity for as many of them (us) as before -- so, a big part of the current population is to be downsized, under various measures and pretexts. On the other hand, the few that will be needed will have to be highly specialized and technologically enhanced (through transhumanism and eugenics) whenever possible. This is something that is openly debated in world meetings. It's openly debated in academia articles and papers. It's openly debated in mid-level sociology and management classes. It's only us, the so-called dumb sheeple at the bottom that are kept imagining that the future is all-inclusive and good, and free for all. We're given lots and lots of entertainment, lots and lots of trivia, to calm our otherwise busy minds with. To be sedated. While 'experts' working for the big bosses direct society into the big bosses' future. You truly have to study reality and get informed. And then, start spreading the word. Godspeed you all ...
Thomas Malthus and the Prophet of Doom
School project. Thomas Malthus takes on his old rival and the almighty Industrial Revolution.
Malthus: originator of military Keynesianism?
David Ricardo believed in Say's Law, that supply creates its own demand. Thomas Malthus believed that the wealthy would be producers all right, but that they wouldn't demand goods or services from all their money and instead save it up. For Malthus, this was a problem. Apparently, he didn't understand that capital comes from savings, and there will be demand for the savings of the rich producers by small entrepreneurs, and the price they would pay to have access to this capital is paying interest. That is, after all, what rich people want - a return on their savings. They don't usually stuff their money under a mattress and guard it with a shotgun. Anyway, Malthus proposed "unproductive consumption" like having a war in order to pump up demand, making sure that everything that was produced would be consumed. This sounds a lot like the Keynesian belief that "war is good for the economy". If so, why not skip the war altogether and just build an aircraft carrier, sail it out to sea, sink it to the bottom of the ocean, and repeat as the economy gets better and better? The entire notion that war is good for the economy is of course absurd. Would you rather have an economy that produces military hardware that will be destroyed, or would you prefer an economy where capital is used by entrepreneurs to create consumer goods like iPods, mobile phones, laptops, Playstations, high defininition TVs, stereos, and automobiles?

Nõnda palju ressursse on raisus; peagi ägame õuduste kaisus. Iga samm nõuab kõrgemat hinda, iga jalg oma lappi maapinda. Seda teed tulevikku ei minda... Õnneks muutub me maailma nägu. Kasvab teadmine, taganeb hägu. Uude lootusse künname vagu. Jõud on kõikjal, kui otsida tihkad, sinu võimuses kõik, mida ihkad. Tuleb saada vaid pakule pihta. Taevad ootavad. Aeg on lahkuda. Jumalaga, Maa! Avakosmost ja meredepõue tunda on meie kohus ja nõue. Täna koos mingem tubadest õue! Joogem januga teadmistelättest, võtkem tulevik eneste kätte, jõudkem mõttega tegudest ette! Malthusian confessions
Schwarzenegger shows his anti-human opinion, an opinion that he will condition people to believe. It is only coincidence when remarks made by Schwarzenegger in real life when he is Governor and in a movie when he is an actor, match and mean the same thing? Schwarzenegger hates humanity and believes that humans need to be exterminated, he just might be a real-life Terminator.
