GREAT 80's TV SERIES!!! Written by the remarkable Donald P. Bellisario, this series basically relates the life of Thomas Sullivan Magnum (Tom Selleck), a retired US NAVY official veteran from the Vietnam war. Now he lives in Hawaii working to solve mysteries and help people as a Private Investigator ("PI"). The series also shows TC (Roger E. Mosley) and Rick (Larry Manetti) - both Magnum's friends that met him during their duties in the Navy. Jonathan Quayle Higgins (John Hillerman) is a british majordomo that works for Robin Masters - famous (and incognito on tv) writer that allowed Magnum to live in his mansion and take care of its security after a successful job. There're also Zeus and Apollo: two dobermans ("the lads") that, together with Higgins, will make a nice team to bother Magnum (and bring a lot of fun) in many episodes.

500 Magnum vs Watermelons
The mighty .500 S&W Magnum demonstrates its massive authority in a little bit of fun.! I always wondered what a "watermelon shower" was like. Now I know quite well. :-) Ammo used in this video was HSM .500 S&W 350 Grain JHP. I have some 400 grain Magtech soft point. They both kick really hard; I could not tell any difference. PLEASE try to avoid revealing your ignorance about how the economy works and why there are people starving. If you think destroying these watermelons was "heartless" or contributing to somebody's starvation, I feel sorry for you. I suggest that even if you think this that you refrain from commenting to that effect; believe me, it just makes you look very ignorant. Since its introduction in 1935, the .357 Magnum has been one of the all time great cartridges. Let's celebrate a little by slinging a few of them! By the way, my dad's single action .357 was out of timing; the firing pin was striking the edge of the case head instead of the primer. I'll have to look at it and see if a new spring will repair it or it needs a "real" gunsmith.

NAA .22 magnum revolver - Perfect pocket gun!
Finally, I have the wonderful and tiny pocket pistol I've always wanted. The shooting videos will come soon but for now, I wanted to talk a little bit about the safety features, it's ease of carry and my opinion on the .22 magnum caliber. For such a tiny little pistol it holds a lot of firepower. 5 rounds of the .22 Magnum coming out of the muzzle at over 1100 fps will pass through organs and bone, stopping the person that is in the process of murdering you. Is it as good of a man stopper as a 9mm or .45acp? Obviously not! But you gain the ability of having a firearm that can save your life an not having to have 2 pounds of metal strapped to your side. A lot of people do not want to carry a large pistol on them or they simply are unable to do so. The NAA mini revolver is a great way to be armed without you or anyone else noticing that you're armed. Most citizen involved defensive shootings involve about 2 shots fired. This gun carries 5 rounds.
