Vancouver Canucks Pay Tribute to Luc Bourdon - HD
The Vancouver Canucks honour Luc Bourdon, the 21-year-old defenceman whose life ended shortly after he began his promising professional ice hockey career with the team. Bourdon was killed on May 29 2008 when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a transport truck on a road in New Brunswick between the communities of Lameque and Shippagan, his hometown. But on Thursday on the other side of the county, his life was celebrated as his former teammates prepared for their first game of the NHL season versus The Calgary Flames at GM Place in Vancouver.
