Caught this on the morning Baton Rouge, La news. It seems that Louisiana hunters are catching creepy pics of ghosts/demons/paranormal/zombies, whatever you want to call them, on their wild game cams that they set up in the woods to take pics at night. I don't know if they're real or not but it's creepy none the less! BERWICK, La (NBC 33) "An NBC 33 viewer claims to have caught an "alien-looking thing" on a deer cam. He chooses to remain anonymous but says the pic was taken on a reserve in Berwick near Morgan City. The viewer says the cam itself was busted when it was found, but the SIM card was still in it. It tells the story of the Canarian Islanders who immigrated to Louisiana in the 18th century in order to establish colonies and to defend Spanish territories from the British and French forces in the area. To this day there are descendants of the first Canarian immigrants, known as "islenos," that continue speaking the Castilian language with the same accent as their ancestors. You will notice a little white snowman in the video, his name is Mr. Bingle and he was an important part of Christmas in New Orleans and the surrounding area. When you saw him on TV you knew Christmas was on its way; it was difficult not to say Mr. Bingle and Christmas in the same sentence. For a little history on our infamous friend; once there was a department store named Maison Blanche which was founded in 1897 by Isadore Newman. He took a trip to Chicago and noticed a character in a store, Marshall Fields, called Uncle Mistletoe. He was a scraggily haired Dickenson character that became the inspiration for Mr. Bingle who was created and designed by Emile Alline, an employee of Maison Blanche, in 1947. Eventually Mr. Bingle appeared in musical radio and television commercials. He also appeared as a guest on other TV programs and made frequent visits to Children's Hospital to bring cheer and hope to many sick children. The puppet shows ended in 1985 when Isentrout died.
