Boss RC-2 Loop Station Demo
Hello, and thanks for watching! I never thought when I made this video a few years ago that it would be such a hit. I am glad to help folks out. I do apologize that I am not the best speaker in this video, I dont claim to be a professional. Here are the most frequently asked questions about the pedal. Please read through before posting a question in the comments. Most of the answers you need will be here (I will add as new ones pop up). I WILL NOT answer questions in the comments that are contained here: Q: Where should this pedal go in my signal chain? A: No matter what your particular setup is, this pedal should always be at the END of your signal chain. This prevents the drum tracks from being effected by any gain or effect pedals you are using. Q: I have the pedal at the end of my chain but the drum tracks are still distorted. Why? A: If you are using an amplifier with built-in effects, you need to use the Send/Return effects loop if your amp has one. If not, there isnt much you can do to keep the tracks from being effected by onboard effects other than using effect pedals in the chain in front of the RC-2. Q: How do I turn the drum tracks off? A: To turn off the drum tracks or phrase, you simply turn the knob counter-clockwise all of the way so that the volume is at 0. That effectively turns off the track. Q: It sounds bad when I record a guitar with distortion/overdrive. Why? A: It is my belief that the pedal has a hard time with a very high gain signal. As such ...

Breakdown goes like this: i start off video clearing the memory, then imediately step on the record button @ 0:03 - i record a two bar loop and set the length by stepping the record OFF at 0:12 - then at 0:19 i turn on the "overdub" and i step on an off camera Boss octave pedal (for bassier sound)- the Boss Octave pedal gets turned off at 0:37 - i continue to play more rythums and percussion until 1:10 when i turn off the overdub. the loop is then complete. solo till i mess up ... :-) cdbaby.com

BOSS RC-30 Loop Station Demo
This video will show you how the RC-30 works - it includes: Using a tap tempo drum beat, dual channel looping, cycling through the effects, removing a mistake track and looping using both an acoustic guitar and bass guitar. I scroll through the effects and I also use the "dual channel looper" function on there as well. I am no expert with this thing, I am new to it, but I am learning how it works. My bass is a Fender Squire PJ Bass (with stock pickups) and my acoustic is a Maton EM-325C with a stock AP5 Pickup. I am plugged into a Behringer Xenyx 1204FX Mixer and all the sound is coming out of one Behringer Active Speaker B212D. Just messing around here. It's 40oC here today which is about 104oF so I apologize for no shirt! But I never apologize for CROCS!!! :-)

Join facebook fan page!: www.facebook.com www.myspace.com I know that some of you may say that this solo is weird and that it is not the bass guitar to play like that, but first - if this guitar can play like that, is to say that you may play like that, and second - only by breaking stereotypes, by combining styles and techniques, through the syncretism of forms, we can get something new, original and better - the one who copies the style of the others, it is predictable and not make the art of music anything that was pushing the story forward. "Meditation" song was composed by me in this year. Recorded for 7-string Conklin bass guitar with loop station, zoom multieffect and drum machine. Max. 9 basses at the same time. The main technique I usually use is two-handed tapping, but in this case I use the others, such as one-handed tapping, scratch, picking, sweep picking, fingering or 'natural' and 'artificial' harmonics. Effects I used are: reverb, distortion, delay and acoustic (some mixed together). I hope You`ll enjoy it. Cheers!
