The Acclaim , 3DO and LJN video game archives Part 1
When LJN and 3DO were dissolved Acclaim bought up most of their assets and inherited their game archives. When acclaim went bankrupt in 2004 I bought up most of their game archives with the exception of one huge cabinet of games that went for an insane price. Most likely those games were split up and sold, but I have decided to keep the part of the archive I have intact. This is the first of many totes and boxes of games.

LJN Major League Baseball Multiplayer
A complete multiplayer baseball match in Major League Baseball by LJN for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The Toronto Blue Jays (MacDaddyNook) go head-to-head with the San Francisco Giants (Duck) for a full 9 inning World Series match. Like all of LJN's games, this one isn't particularly good, but it is playable, which is saying something given the track record of the company that made it. The controls feel a little off, especially when it comes to pitching as even when trying to throw a slower ball, it still comes out blazing from the pitcher's hand. Fielding works similar to most baseball games on the NES, though it's strange that the game sometimes controls multiple players at a time.

LJN's are no longer safe in the land of vintage toys now that the ljn slayer has arrived. Watch as he stalks his prey and abducts vintage wwf ljn rubber superstars from the 1980s. This episode starts off with Hulk Hogan and his ljn brothers brother. Chris Jericho farts and gets called out by dr evil. The custom ljn action figures of the rock and ron simmons come face to face with the dragon ricky steamboat. Special guest appearances by andre the giant, ricky the dragon steamboat, the british bulldog davey boy smith, mean gene, alex shelley from the motor city machine guns in the tna, ecw taz, the franchise shane douglas. Big Van Vader lets superstars know its vader time along with his manager the mouth of the south jimmy hart, but mark henry says somebodys gonna get their ass kicked, who will prevail? this episode marks the first appearance of the big show 2010 mattell flex force action figure, what role will he play in the lovt? LJN Gems, Episode 1: Back to the Future (NES)
I don't know what possessed me to do this. Well, yeah, I do: mondo-masochism and no purpose in life. If you manage to sit through all 20 minutes of this auditory rape, you deserve an accolade far higher than this mere puny world can provide. This was one of the few games I actually played and gave up on as a kid, and not because it was too difficult, but because it was so damned boring and monotonous. There's hardly any variety at all in the way of gameplay, except for the intermission stages, where you have to hit/deflect/catch an 'x' number of crap. The real challenge here is refraining from animal cruelty, terrorist acts and suicide after the music loops for the 27th time. Bottom line: A timeless classic from the LJN vault. Highly recommended. 5 out of 5 stars.
