The Hush Sound - Lions Roar
Matt and I decided long ago that we wanted to enter the 7th annual film festival held at Art Institute of Schaumburg called Artimation. Our goal was to make a stand that the Graphic Design majors could very well enter and compete in a very video & animation filled world. That said, we decided to do a typographical motion graphic piece to one of The Hush Sound's songs. We love the band, we love typography, we love design, and we love motion graphics. Heavily inspired by motion graphics studio MK12, we decided to try our shot at it. Keep in mind that this was our first ever After Effects project. We taught ourselves the application just to get a submission in. Four+ days straight went into this bad boy, with necessary 5:00am McDonald's Breakfast stops. In the end, we missed our deadline by several hours. To top it off, it's NOWHERE NEAR as polished off and finished as we want it to be. We plan on finishing this for sure. Next year, Artimation 8 will be our bitch. For now, enjoy this project. Lion Cub Gives Us His Best Roar
Feb 19, 2012 EDIT: I uploaded this video a few months ago. It was taken in Dec 2011. His sister had died shortly after their birth. He was a part of the third pair of cubs born to the mother that year. The cubs are routinely separated from their mother after birth in order to get them acclimated to their handlers and also to keep better eye on their growth and development. The cubs were also a part of an educational program at the facility directed at schools kids. He was eventually reunited with his mother and the rest of the lions. I did/do not have anything to do with the care of this lion. I was simply visiting him.

The Karmapa is the head of the Karma Kagyu lineage, one of the four great lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. His line of successive reincarnations has its origins in the 13th century when it was the first to identify tulkus, reincarnations of Buddhist teachers. He is recognized as the embodiment of the teachings of his lineage, one that traces its source from teacher to disciple through Tibet's great teachers Milarepa and Marpa to India's Naropa and Tilopa all the way back to the Shakyamuni Buddha. White Tiger In Heat Lion Roar Chuff Sound Vocalize Growl
Video shows a rare white tiger. White tigers are very rare in nature. Also shows chuffing sounds that tigers make and a tiger in heat. Shows the sounds of a white tiger and normal tiger. Also shows lion interest in tiger in heat and lion and tiger growls and roars. The "chuff" is a sound tigers make when they're affectionate and happy. A person can even chuff at a tiger, and it will usually chuff back in response. It is a way to bond with them. The tiger in heat was chuffing and also attracted the attention of a nearby male lion. Lions and tigers are closely related and can mate. The results are ether a tigon or a liger. The lion is shown doing the Flehman lip curl. Lions and tigers can both direct spray attacks. White tigers are very rare. Although some have occurred spontaneously in nature, most are inbred. This inbreeding can produce adverse effects. The tiger is found in Exotic Feline Rescue Center (EFRC) in western Indiana, which rescues big cats and gives them a home for life. They are the largest center in the US open to the public. They have 210 exotic felines and are one of the largest rescue centers in the United States for abused, unwanted and neglected exotic felines.. The cats are well cared for. They have tigers lions leopards cougars bobcats ocelots servals lynx Asian leopard cat and a tigon. They are located in a beautiful woods. You can spend the night next to some of the cats and hear coyotes, turkeys, and deer.
