Art Linkletter's Kids Say The Darndest Things | 1995 Special with Bill Cosby (CBS)
This 1967 clip is from a Kids Say the Darndest Things special hosted by Bill Cosby that aired on CBS on February 6, 1995. It was based on a popular feature of Art Linkletter's radio show House Party and television series, Art Linkletter's House Party, which together aired mostly five days a week from 1945 to 1969. The premise of the show is that the host would ask a question to a child (around the age of 3-8) who would usually respond in a "cute" way. The show sometimes would "flashback" to Linkletter's show, Art Linkletter's House Party. It would show kids (of the time), with their same "cute" reactions of whatever Linkletter would ask or say to them. Clip Courtesy Of CBS

Larry Short on Art Linkletter TV show - 1963
When I was 5 I was filmed (unbeknownst to me at the time) in a pet store in Santa Monica, California, for a segment of Art Linkletter's early show, "Life With Linkletter." My brother (Don Short, 3 at the time) also appears in the background of the beginning part of the video. Several months after this initial taping, I appeared on the show with Art Linkletter, Sebastian Cabot, Jane Meadows, and Carl Reiner. Don and I are both employed now by World Vision, and this video was featured at Art Linkletter's 85th birthday bash in Beverley Hills, where I had the privilege of presenting a gift to Art on behalf of the 35000 children who had appeared on his shows over the years, and on behalf of World Vision, with whom Art has partnered many times to bring help and hope to children suffering from natural and manmade disasters worldwide. The gala was sponsored by the French Alzheimer's Foundation, and coordinated by Art's daughter, Sharon. My memories of Art are of a truly kind man who loved children from the depths of his heart, and had an uncanny knack for communicating at our level. I hope this video honors his memory, which will live forever in our hearts!

Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson Talks About SEMINAR, friends Hamish Linkletter and Lily Rabe
In SEMINAR, four aspiring young novelists sign up for private writing classes with Leonard (Alan Rickman), an international literary figure. Under his recklessly brilliant and unorthodox instruction, some thrive and others flounder, alliances are made and broken, sex is used as a weapon and hearts are unmoored. The wordplay is not the only thing that turns vicious as innocence collides with experience in this biting new comedy. This is its world premiere.
The Jack Benny Program - Peggy King - Art Linkletter 1/4
Jack opens with a very funny and typically witty monologue. During the monologue he is heckled by audience member, Franque Finque (Mel Blanc), who goes on to cause a real "stinque." Next is a warm welcome to Peggy King who unexpectedly becomes a little irritating to Jack. King sings "Where Love Walks Out, Brother" and delivers a fantastic performance. Then it's time for Art Linkletter. Art does some interviews with children and then launches into a great skit with some surprise participants. This video brought to you by hwy61media.
