worldofwarcraft.tgn.tv — DPS rundown series, episode 20 of 22 Shadow Priest! We look at the spec and rotation for a Shadow Priest, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk. Shadow is a fun spec based around dots, Mind Blast, and, oddly, moving as much as possible. Thanks to a recent change in Shadow Orbs, you no longer need to concern yourself with stacking orbs and timing your dot refreshes. Instead, you can spend the orbs as often as you want, and you will permanently maintain the buff to your periodic shadow damage through a brand new buff called Empowered Shadow. Although this spec is quite similar to Affliction in a lot of ways, the constant motion thanks to the Shadowy Apparition talent does give it a unique spin compared to every other dps spec in the game. I have a total of 7-8 seconds of mistakes in the run: lost about 2 seconds on slingshot. lost half a second on deadly walls afloat. about 2.5s on multiple elephants (bad mistake). 1s on text-based adventure. 1s on tricky doors. and maybe .5s on misplaced doors.... but my layout on BLUE is the best I've ever had, so that saved a ton of time. the previous secret levels were cool, but this was a great idea and well worth the trouble of going through that stupid maze it's the same layout as pac-man with a few changes: extra lives in place of power pills, enemies in the ghost box, and the wraparound exits replaced with level exits. i only wish they had come up with a powerup that would let you kill the ghosts, but this level still owns regardless. real annoying to 100% with all the treasure tho

LBP2 beta - Stereo/mono level playthrough + creation time lapse
The NDA on the LBP2 beta has finally been lifted and we can now post as many LBP2 videos as we like! I was lucky enough to get selected for the beta (don't ask me how), so I'll be uploading quite a bit of gameplay over the next few days. The first proper level I made, using the new tools was one where I wanted to mix a montage into a platformer (if that makes sense), and this is what I got out of it. It turned out to be quite popular, since it got Mm picked (or whatever it's called) and is, at the time of writing this, the most hearted level of all in the beta. Audial Visuals, which we posted a few hours ago, has been steadily gaining on this level in terms of hearts, and should take the lead pretty soon though. Anyways, the level itself took 15 hours and 36 minutes to create. I didn't do it all in one sitting, don't worry, but it still occupied me for quite some time. Also, the first song in the time lapse is an actual song which one of my friends made (and I lengthened), that I recreated in the LBP2 music sequencer, which is actually pretty damn good! worldofwarcraft.tgn.tv — Fire Mage DPS rundown (episode 18 of 22) in World of Warcraft Cataclysm! We look at the spec and rotation for a Fire Mage, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk. Fire is a very, very simple rotation. Spam your primary nuke while reacting to the rare Hot Streak proc and manage about three cooldowns. I've tested both Frostfire Bolt and Fireball, each with their respective glyph, and found that Frostfire Bolt currently does more DPS. There is also an RNG factor to consider, so the gulf may not be as large as the data shows (due to mana pool problems with Fire, the sample size is only a bit over 1M damage, instead of 2-3M as I prefer to do). Potent Poisons has been buffed, making it one of the best masteries in the game at the moment. Venomous Wounds has also been buffed, reinforcing the garrote/rupture playstyle. I didn't mention it in the video, but I also moved a point from Imp EA to Deadened Nerves. Check out the original episode 1 video for more information about rotation, talents, and glyphs.
