Looking for Lenny is an in-depth documentary that uses controversial comic, Lenny Bruce's legacy to explore the present condition of the fear of words and expression. Because of his provocative subject matter, Bruce was arrested and charged with obscenity in multiple cities. He spent much of his life struggling through court battles and public harassment, until he died at age 39 of a morphine overdose. "Looking for Lenny" tells the story of Bruce's life, accompanied by interviews with comedy legends, politicians, and celebrity friends of Lenny Bruce. The film explores the fear of offense and the subsequent rise of political correctness in America. As censorship becomes more rigid and prevalent, we are effectively at risk of losing one of the greatest American civil liberties: the freedom of speech. Lenny Krayzelburg on Staying Positive
Olympic gold medalist, Lenny Krayzelburg, shares his insights on success and staying positive. Lenny Krayzelburg is a four-time Olympic gold medalist. He won his first three gold medals in every event in which he participated at the 2000 Olympic Games. Despite knee and shoulder surgeries that kept him out of most competition during the three years following the 2000 Games, Krayzelburg came back to qualify for the 2004 Athens Olympics and won his fourth gold medal. Krayzelburg was a finalist for United States Olympic Committee Sportsman of the Year in 1998, and was chosen USA Swimmer of the Year each of the following two years. In 2001, he was inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and USC Hall of Fame. He is a member of International Jewish Hall of Fame and in May 2011 Lenny's swimming career was truly completed when he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. In 2005, Lenny founded the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy. There are currently five US locations. Its core purpose is to teach children to be water safe and inspire love for the water.
