How to make a cafe latte
SALE TODAY: Learn Piano on iOS bit.ly Step 1: Steam the Milk The first step in brewing cafe latte is steaming the milk. Cafe lattes are typically served in huge cups, so 16 ounces of ice cold ideally fresh milk is one of the two main ingredients. It should be ice cold, because warm or room temperature milk cannot steam and foam well. With a culinary thermometer ready, dunk the steam wand of the espresso machine to the milk. Do not immerse it totally. Just dip it a little bit so that it barely touches the milk. It should not be above the surface, either. Turn on the steam wand. Use your sense of hearing, instead of sight, to judge if the steaming process is done correctly. The wand should suck in bubbles and not splatter the milk. If you want to use your eyes, a whirlpool is considered a good sign. The target temperature is anywhere between 155 and 160ºF. Be sure to turn off the wand before the temperature reaches 160ºF. The milk should continue to rise. Set aside the steamed milk to allow it to stiffen up a bit. Step 2: Pull the Espresso Cafe latte is typically foamy steamed milk flavored with thick Italian-style espresso coffee, so the second step in preparing cafe latte is brewing the espresso. Depending on the espresso coffee making tools you have, brew espresso using an extraction time of 18 to 22 seconds. The streams of dripping espresso should look like mouse tails. They should not be too thick or too thin. The perfect espresso is characterized by crema or "cream ...

latte art- this is why i love my job
i just thought i'd chuck a new vid together for everyone seeing i haven't put one up for a while, this is basically some of the latte art pours that i pour daily for my customers, i know i may not perfect each pour every time, but even seeing the smile on the customers face even at my attempting to make the coffee look nice and the appreciation and complements i get really makes the hours of practice and effort working on designs worth it, and basically i wouldn't go to work each day as happy as i do if i wasn't getting something more out of it then just making coffee, so enjoy and i will try to get a new vid up soon of the new stuff i am working on

Milk rolls ( panini al latte ) recipe
Milk rolls (panini al latte) is an original Italian recipe: soft and delicious, you can eat them with several ingredients. Find this and many more recipes on the Giallozafferano App in English itunes.apple.com *** Hi everyone! I'm Sonia from GialloZafferano and today we'll be making "Panini al Latte". These rolls are delicious, soft morsels which can be filled with either sweet or savoury ingredients. You can even prepare them the day before; they're enjoyed by adults and kids alike and they're perfect for bringing on a picnic or a day outdoors. Are you ready? Let's see what ingredients we'll need. • 1 1/4 - 1 1/3 cups of fresh whole milk • 5 Tbsp of sugar • 1 packet of yeast: this one is a quarter ounce • Half tablespoon of salt • 3 and a half tablespoons of softened butter • 4 cups of strong flour or flour for breadmaking • A small cup of flour and an egg for washing the finished dough. OK. Let's take a look at how to prepare our rolls. First of all, place the dry yeast into a small bowl. We'll need to moisten and feed the yeast to activate fermentation. To do this, put one or two spoons of sugar into the yeast (whichever you'd like) and add a bit of the milk which at this point must be at least 95F which is just warm. Not hot, and not cold. Add a bit of milk, and then mix together. After a while, you may see a bit of foam at the top of the mix...this is the fermentation process at work! Add the rest of the sugar to the rest of the milk and add the salt as well. Mix it ...

[Con Haralambopoulos, Latte Art World Champion]: What the judges are looking for, it comes down to 50% flavor and 50% symmetrical designs. So basically in that competition format is six strengths in a minute and the first set of beverages is a cappuccino followed by a short macchiato and finishing off with a designer beverage of your choice. And for the budding Baristas out there, Cons tips to creating a great cup of coffee. LATTE ART - BEAN JAMMING (ONA COFFEE)
another killer session at urban bean espresso bar with sam, wade and dean. The boys at urban threw down the jam challenge to push your comfort zone and try something new. this resulted in some spectacular pours and wound out to be a stella arvo. poor old wadeo battled with his group handle toss but managed to pull an banger we dubed the exploding rosie, sam was a camera hog trying to pour a phoenix with a tail and gave it the tongue twister name feather flairing phoenix, he also conjured up the surfer boy put prob should of taken a photo straight away cause the only snap taken was a bubbly mess. as for dean well he mainly did the work wade and sam turned up to do so he gets a mention for his moral support. enjoy song: A bright day by Gramatik
