Ils nous accueillent dans la maison historique des parents d'Olivier, où ils ont passé la nuit. Je me souviens que la maison nous a accroché avant de savoir que c'était là, qu'elle s'est en quelque sorte imposée d'elle même. Tout le monde est là : David, la famille Maguire, une tante... L'ambiance est chaleureuse et invitante. On parle de la maison et du travail qui ya été consacré, du canon de l'époque de la guerre Wolfe / Montcalm et de la bataille des plaines d'Abraham échoué dans la cours arrière. On se rappelle des souvenirs, on parle de la Gaspésie. Je me rappelle d'ailleurs d'une van qui ne démarrait qu'à coup de marteau... mais ça, c'est une autre histoire. On fait quelques essais, on déplace des trucs. Le plancher craque et ils sont cinq musiciens. On doit faire quelques prises pour trouver le meilleur compromis face aux contraintes auxquels on fait face. On enregistre Love Ends en premier. La chanson me plait un max dès le départ.
