Lakers (3) Vs Thunder (2) - Game 1 Recap - (West Semi-Finals - 2012 Nba Playoffs)
WATCH METTA WORLD PEACE'S INTRODUCTION: www.youtube.com Russell Westbrook had 27 points and nine assists, Kevin Durant added 25 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder blasted the weary Los Angeles Lakers 119-90 on Monday night in the opening game of the Western Conference semifinals! Oklahoma City led by as many as 35 points, getting a measure of vengeance for the elbow Metta World Peace delivered to the head of the Thunder's James Harden three weeks earlier - and without needing dirty tactics to do it. Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum scored 20 points each for the Lakers and Bynum had 14 rebounds! The Thunder committed a franchise-record four turnovers! Both coaches started going to their benches with 8 1/2 minutes left, and Los Angeles reserve Devin Ebanks ended up getting ejected with 2:18 to play after walking up to a scrum for the ball after the whistle! Official Greg Willard said at the scorer's table that he was ejected for "what he said" in drawing a technical foul! It ended up tying for the 12th-worst blowout in Lakers playoff history! The buildup to the game focused largely on it being the first meeting between the teams since World Peace gave Harden a concussion by elbowing him in the head three weeks ago, in the final stretch of the regular season! World Peace got a seven-game suspension, returning just in time to help LA win Game 7 against Denver! A sold-out crowd at Chesapeake Energy Arena wasn't nearly as happy to see him back, although World Peace - who changed ...

Thunder Vs Lakers - Game Recap (Double OT) - (Season Game 65 - 2011-12)
Down by 17 points with 10 1/2 minutes remaining in an emotionally charged game Sunday afternoon against the visiting Thunder, it appeared the Lakers' hold on the Pacific Division lead was about to slip away! But behind a burst from Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and a supporting cast of unlikely reserves, the Lakers stormed back to win in double overtime, 114-106, at Staples Center! Lakers small forward Metta World Peace didn't live up to his new name and could be missing some time after elbowing James Harden in the head late in the second quarter while celebrating a fast-break dunk! World Peace claimed the elbow was inadvertent, but replays indicated otherwise! World Peace received a flagrant-2 foul and was ejected! Harden, who leads NBA reserves in scoring at 16.9 points, went to the locker room and didn't return! Jordan Hill came to the LA in the trade that sent popular point guard Derek Fisher to Houston, and then to Oklahoma City! Hill played just 18 minutes in the previous 21 games with the Lakers, but was surprisingly sent out to start the second quarter! He was solid in his first run, producing six points and four rebounds in a little under nine minutes, and even better down the stretch, playing all of the fourth quarter and the overtimes in place of Andrew Bynum! Hill finished with 14 points, a career-high 15 rebounds and three blocked shots, all while matching his career-high of 35 minutes! Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook probably wouldn't mind avoiding ...

LA Lakers Vs Denver Nuggets Game 2 First Round Highlights
LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant scored 38 points, Andrew Bynum followed up his playoff-opening triple-double with 27 points and nine rebounds, and the Los Angeles Lakers weathered Denver's late rally for a 104-100 victory over the Nuggets on Tuesday night, taking a 2-0 series lead. Pau Gasol had 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the third-seeded Lakers, who still haven't trailed in this series despite nearly crumbling against a much-improved effort by the Nuggets and Ty Lawson, who scored 25 points and led the fourth-quarter charge. Los Angeles' 19-point lead in the third quarter dwindled to four with 3 minutes to play, but Ramon Sessions scored four key points in the final 1:14 before Bryant's icing free throws with 9.4 seconds left. Game 3 is Friday in Denver. Lawson shook his awful series opener with 17 second-half points, but the sixth-seeded Nuggets lost their ninth straight road playoff game despite playing much closer to their preferred speedy tempo after the Lakers muzzled them in Game 1. Sessions scored 14 points for Los Angeles, which played just enough fast-break ball of its own to stay ahead of Denver -- and now the Lakers are halfway to the second round. They have only lost one playoff series in franchise history after winning the first two games, going 42-1. Kenneth Faried had 14 points and 10 rebounds while Danilo Gallinari and Corey Brewer added 13 points apiece, but Denver still couldn't consistently defend Bryant or negate Bynum, who played another ...
