Carl Verheyen and Haddon Cord promote an upcoming show at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA and headlined by the Carl Verheyen Band. After playing an early-morning blues eye opener, Carl tells the story about how Chet Atkins style helped him at the grocery store. (you'll need to listen to find out what that means) Haddon Cord - who is also produced by Carl Verheyen- follows with a fresh tune. Carl wastes no time listening to the first verse and then overlaying the spot-on texture and tasty licks.

Exhibition Kickboxing Bout
A quick exhibition kickboxing bout. I am in the far corner from the camera(with the light colored trimmed shorts) and this was after my fourth fight. I was 16 at the time and a Super Featherweight. Because it was an exhibition both of us were told to slow it down, which we did but he was a little less experienced than I was despite my own inexperience. I wasn't really hitting him hard when the ref had enough just feathery quick ones. A good watch nonetheless. Date: March 22, 2003
