Bubbly gets hold of the soap on which Shyam had imprinted Arnav's locker key to make a duplicate key.

Arnav goes to Madhumati's house to help Akash get out of the sticky situation. Nanda Kishore plans to sneak out of the Raizada house to see Khushi at midnight. Akash persuades Payal to come out with him to celebrate New Year. Arnav goes back to Madhumati's house to look for his mobile phone. As clock hits 12 Khushi switches on the light and sees Arnav on New Year's night.

Shyam anticipates Anjali's death and makes arrangements for her funeral. Arnav learns about Anjali's accident from police and rushes to the spot but he receives an injured Anjali near the door. Anjali informs about the accident and requests not to tell Shyam, Akash and Gupta family. Arnav cries for Anjali even though she is fine.

Anjali and Shyam return home from sonography. Anjali tells Arnav to drop Khushi in Madhumati's house for the rasam. Arnav drops Khushi on the street and leaves.

Manorama ill treats Payal, however, Akash supports her. Shyam misbehaves with Khushi.

Shyam finds out that Arnav had bequeathed all of his wealth to Anjali in his will.

Shyam brings home a poisonous scorpion, to kill Anjali and hides it in a sweet box. While he poses for the family photo session, a couple of workers move the sweet box from its hidden place.
