Here's the second video in my 'Home Filmed' series. It's made using two Korg Kaoss Pad KP3's linked together which are effects processors/loopers/samplers all built into one. You can record in a sound which can loop automatically as well as record in a sound to trigger as and when you want. It's a lot of fun and a good way for you guys to see exactly how they work as i'm going to be using them quite a bit from now on. It's all vocal, sometimes using my sounds to manipulate the effects in the Kaoss Pads to create a certain sound. Remember it's all made in one take, everything performed and recorded live and all made with one microphone and my mouth! iPad Acid Jam (Technobox, Kaoss Pad 3) Music Apps
Acid Jam on the new iPad run through the Korg Kaoss Pad 3. Apps used: RjDj, Technobox, TOPLAp, SampleToy. There were a coupla mistakes and I probably shouldn't have used any other apps besides Technobox (corny intro and outro, I know), but there's a lot of great stuff out there and is way versatile. Let me know your favorites! Besides Technobox, mine are Start6, RjDj and BeBot.

Korg Kaoss Pad KP3 Loop recording tutorial
Here you can see how to record various loops with KP3 from any audio source (I recorded from my sound car output). It could be very simple or hard, all depends on the source of the music. Very important thing to remember is to set correct BPM for music (for voice it doesn't matter than much). First loop and voice were pretty straight forward, but the last one took me many takes to get right. In complex loop like this you need to play with offset values.
