Come Eat: Somen Salad
3 bundles (Japan Food Tomishiraga) somen 1 tablespoon sesame oil 3 eggs, fried, sliced thin 1/2 head of lettuce, sliced 1/2 cucumber, halved, sliced thin 1 kamaboko, sliced into matchsticks 1/2 pound char siu (Chinese Barbecue Pork), sliced thin 3 stalks green onions, sliced 1 teaspoon sesame seeds Dressing: 3 tablespoons sesame oil 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup rice vinegar 1/4 cup soy sauce Prepare dressing the night before in air tight container, shake, refrigerate. Heat large teflon frying pan, add a little oil, beat three eggs and add to pan. I let the egg cover the whole bottom of the pan and when it's almost cooked, slice it into four wedges with the tip of a spatula and turn each wedge to finish cooking. Remove to cutting board and let cool, then slice thin. Bring water to boil in pot, add somen, bring to a boil and cook for three minutes. Drain into colander with cold water. Add one tablespoon of sesame oil and mix. In a serving bowl, add sliced lettuce, somen noodles, char siu, cucumbers, egg, kamaboko, green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Chill until ready to serve. Just before serving, shake dressing, add to salad and toss. Tonight was the end of another quarter so my Hula Group had a Potluck that I took this to. Mele Kalikimaka! I usually like to serve somen salad individually and when I do, I prepare double the amount of somen and dressing... and cut a heart shape out of nori to place on each serving. Envasado y pasteurización.

Cube Rush Das ist er nun, der Kurzfilm der übers Cuben geht. Ich hoffe durch dieses Video bringe ich ein paar Leute zum überlegen oder grübeln. Die Idee zu dem Film hatte ich schon etwas länger. Inspiriert hat mich der Film "black swan" für den Natalie Portman als weibliche Schauspielerin einen Oscar erhielt. Ich habe noch andere Ideen, bin/war aber zunächst unentschlossen, ob ich das Projekt realisieren sollte. Nunja, hier ist es. Eventuell gibt es in Zukunft öfter kleine Filme mit dem Inhalt "cube". Die letztendliche Entscheidung bringt mir aber euer Feedback. Also äußert gerne Kritik. aber bitte nur Konstruktive, sonst hat das in meinen Augen alles keinen Sinn. Ich habe in einer Szene etwas gemacht, was ich während der Szene schon wieder bereut habe und nie wieder für so etwas machen werde.
