The Kaaos Effect - The Darkroom
This is the fifth part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Darkroom Upon your arrival, you'll notice the lights are quite dim... but wait, before you turn the lights on, you realize you've landed in a photographic darkroom! Use your knowledge and skill to take a photograph of yourself and develop it using the facilities at hand. If you're not the sort who knows how to develop photos, don't panic :) There's a handy guide book on the shelf for you that will walk you through the process. If you're good, you could get a job at the local Wal-Mart photo center... Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - Operator's Station
This is the second part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Operator Station (Telephone Era). Since I've already beaten this game, my slipstream points are all open and I do not automatically teleport to the next area. Instead I always teleport back to the Help Desk (last level). Note: Usually in the normal game this is the first place you teleport to when you select "Kaaos Start" from your TSD menu on the HUD. I did the 1933 Era first because that's the era I see most people get hung up on (aside from the Dark Room) Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com

The Kaaos Effect - The Void
As if to confirm that this game is one big hallucination, you find proof in the form of this era of Kaaos Effect, aptly named The Void. With time stopped at the exact moment of the explosion which sent you to the crash site on MadPea Island, you can't help but feel an eerie chill come over you as you gaze upon the frantic face of Sid behind the desk, forever frozen in time. That is, unless you complete this quest and set the time stream back to normal. Granted, Sid is a loser... but you still have to help him if you want to get out of the time crisis he's put you in. In this era there is nothing of major importance, other than the eye candy. Here you will not find any era data, or puzzles to solve. Instead, this era is used to fill in a bit more of the ongoing story before you move on. Head over to the Tribal Drums to find the time rift and continue your journey. This is the ninth part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is The Void. Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - Ice Age & Help Desk
Remember when Sid gave you coordinates that landed you far in the future on a ship about to be engulfed by a dying sun? The only thing going through your mind was "I could really use some air conditioning about now..." Be careful what you wish for... Welcome to the Ice Age. You have a limited amount of time to find a single component of your wristband and get out. The alternative is taking the long way home to the future - in a block of ice like Encino Man (luckily you wouldn't be spending that time stuck with Paulie Shore). Finish the last era to return to the Help Desk in the future. Just remember to touch the clock at the Help Desk to get the final database information. This is the twelfth and final part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Ice Age & Help Desk. Thank you for watching the Kaaos Effect walkthrough. Keep in mind, the game doesn't follow a particular order, however it is likely that the Ice Age is the final destination before the final Temporal Sightseeing Destination Help Desk location. Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - 1943 German U-Boat
It's one thing to want a glass of water, but this is a little ridiculous! Teleporting from the year 2105, you find yourself in the year 1943 on a German U-Boat (Submarine) ... and you're in the luckiest position, no less! Right within firing range of war ship on the surface. This is the eighth part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is 1943 German U-Boat By now, you're probably used to getting yourself out of tight spaces, but maneuvering around a German U-Boat during World War II has got to take the cake! To make matters worse (as if this wasn't bad enough), the only means of communication happens to be the infamous Enigma machine... Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - The Future 2105
Upon narrowly escaping the engulf of a dying sun, you wind up in... the future? Well, considering where you just came from has no future, this is definitely a sight for sore eyes! First on your to-do list: A glass of water :) This is the seventh part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is The Future. Aside from everything being minimalistic in nature, this seems like the sort of place you could make yourself comfortable in. The buttons on the walls materialize the wardrobe, a food replicator, and even a bed. You are in the Year 2105, which is 55 years from the TSD center in 2050 and where Sid is located. Upon further investigation (make sure to read the web link in the game) you find that this is Sid's Granddaughter's apartment! Even though the AI tells you not to push random buttons, this is definitely one of those times when you should go around pushing all of the buttons you find. Bonus: The actual date stated in the game is April 21st, 2105 - which is my 126th birthday :) Hopefully I live long enough to see that future! Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - Telegraph Trainstop
This is the third part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Telegraph Trainstop. Once you teleport into this era, you find out shortly that two trains collided into each other in the year 1900 and destroyed the station you are currently in. When, exactly, did this happen? Don't worry, you have plenty of time... about 15 minutes. Better hope you know how to work a telegraph, cowboy... or you're gonna be history. Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - Jungle
Just great... you're totally lost, not just physically, but in time. It's time to get in touch with your primitive side, and channel your ancestors. Welcome to the Jungle, where the only means of communication are a set of drums in front of a thatch hut. In the far corner of the area, you'll normally find a sundial to click on (not shown in this video), and doing so will add the needed information for the database in this area. Be sure to check the hut for additional items, (bowl) and have a moment of meditation to clear your mind. After that, head over to the pond and fill the bowl with some water before taking it over to the fire and tossing it in. Is that a snake in the flames? Surely the hallucinations haven't subsided... This is the tenth part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Jungle. Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - 70s Bedroom
This is the fourth part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the 70s Bedroom. Congratulations on figuring out the telegraph and slipstreaming out of a train wreck (literally)! In this era, you find yourself laid back and watching those groovy lava lamps as you find yourself transported to... somebody's bedroom in the 1970s? There doesn't seem to be anything of importance here, or so your AI tells you. However there are a few interesting easter eggs to consider. Remember the Telephone Switchboard earlier? There was a call about Riley... be sure to get the Floppy Disk on the TV to read the Journal on the high-tech computer on the table. (Pause the video to read the journal entry). Seems the television is on the fritz... hope you know how to fix a pair of rabbit ears for a TV or else this is gonna be a mystery that even Scooby-Doo can't solve. Is it just me, or does this room smell like some weird incense? Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - Red Sun
Another title for this era should be "RUN LIKE HELL!!" This is the sixth part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Red Sun. Just when you think your luck couldn't get any worse, Sid transports you onto a space station just outside of a dying sun... Welcome to 5 Billion AD, time traveller, and the burning wreckage of a melting space space station about to implode! You have less than 2 minutes to find one of the missing components of your time travel device, before it's lights out... and in this case, when the lights go out, it'll take out the galaxy and you with it! Note: Because I've beaten this game, the component doesn't teleport me out of that era when I click on it, so at the end I manually teleport to the Help Desk. In the real game, if you haven't beaten it, clicking the component will give you the coordinates to the next era and teleport you out in time. Wanna Play? Here's the Link: maps.secondlife.com

The Kaaos Effect - Intro, Helpdesk & 1933
This is the first part of The Kaaos Effect in SecondLife, by MadPea Productions. Covered here is the Entry Area and Help Desk, leading to the 1933 Newspaper Office. Since I've already beaten this game, my slipstream points are all open and I do not automatically teleport to the next area. Instead I always teleport back to the Help Desk (last level). What this playlist series will cover is each level (probably out of order) and how to solve each one. maps.secondlife.com
The Kaaos Effect - Tang Dynasty (Chinese Printer)
Looks like the coordinates Sid sent you landed on top of one of the most important Buddhist documents in history. Luckily you didn't spill anything on it... oh, you did? Take a deep breath and vow to beat Sid into a pulp later. It's time once again to fix his screw-up and save a piece of history in the process. Welcome to the Tang Dynasty (Chinese Printer). This era is a bit more complicated without a guide, so be prepared to write some things down in a Notecard. Is it just me, or is there an awful lot of music here for an area totally devoid of other people? So much for isolation in the mountains... White House Tour with Jackie Kennedy (1962 Documentary Film)
DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (July 28, 1929 -- May 19, 1994) was the wife of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, and served as First Lady of the United States during his presidency from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. Five years later she married Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis; they remained married until his death in 1975. For the final two decades of her life, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis had a successful career as a book editor. She is remembered for her contributions to the arts and preservation of historic architecture, her style, elegance, and grace. A fashion icon, her famous pink Chanel suit has become a symbol of her husband's assassination and one of the lasting images of the 1960s. The restoration of the White House was Kennedy's first major project as First Lady. She was dismayed during her pre-inauguration tour of the White House to find little of historic significance in the house. The rooms were furnished with undistinguished pieces that she felt lacked a sense of history. Her first efforts, begun her first day in residence (with the help of society decorator Sister Parish), were to make the family quarters attractive and suitable for family life. Among these changes was the addition of a kitchen on the family floor and rooms for her children. Upon almost immediately exhausting the funds appropriated for this effort, Kennedy established a fine arts committee to oversee and ...

CIA Archives: Desegregation and the American Civil Rights Movement Documentary Film (1957)
thefilmarchive.org Desegregation is the process of ending the separation of two groups usually referring to races. This is most commonly used in reference to the United States. Desegregation was long a focus of the American Civil Rights Movement, both before and after the United States Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. Board of Education, particularly desegregation of the school systems and the military. Racial integration of society was a closely related goal. The African-American Civil Rights Movement (1955--1968) refers to the movements in the United States aimed at outlawing racial discrimination against African Americans and restoring voting rights in Southern states. This article covers the phase of the movement between 1954 and 1968, particularly in the South. By 1966, the emergence of the Black Power Movement, which lasted roughly from 1966 to 1975, enlarged the aims of the Civil Rights Movement to include racial dignity, economic and political self-sufficiency, and freedom from oppression by white Americans. The movement was characterized by major campaigns of civil resistance. During the period 1955--1968, acts of nonviolent protest and civil disobedience produced crisis situations between activists and government authorities. Federal, state, and local governments, businesses, and communities often had to respond immediately to crisis situations that highlighted the inequities faced by African Americans. Forms of protest and/or civil disobedience included ...
