The Journey: A short film on sex trafficking PT1
Part one of Richard Jobson and Emma Thompson's short film about the brutal realities of sex trafficking. Made in conjunction with The Helen Bamber Foundation featuring original music by Richard Ashcroft. Emma Thompson on 'The Journey': I've known Helen Bamber for about 25 years. When I was still a comedian, and doing stand-up, I would do a lot of benefits for the various foundations she was involved in. And when she started this new foundation, campaigning for the victims of human-rights abuse, she asked me to get involved - so I became chair. The reason I've become particularly involved in this campaign heightening awareness of sex trafficking is that one of the victims spoke to me about her experiences. And I thought that her story would be something that might lend itself to many artistic forms. One of these was an installation which has just come back from New York and which I recently took to Madrid (it opened in Trafalgar Square a few years ago). And the other was Richard's film. The Journey is quite abstract, because we felt that a lot of the films made about trafficking don't necessarily convey the full horror of what these woman go through. So, rather than making it with a traditional narrative, Richard made something that's about what happens on the inside. With me, floating about, being appalled, on the outside. We wanted to create something that was a visceral experience.

Clem Snide covers Journey
Clem Snide frontman (and only constant member) Eef Barzelay has made other artists' songs his own many times before, from Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" to Hank Williams' "Lost On The River" to The Velvet Underground's "I'll Be Your Mirror." When we told Ben Folds that Barzelay would be shooting an Undercover, he said something like, "I can listen to that guy sing anything, all day." When he chose Journey's 1983 power ballad "Faithfully" for Undercover, we were delighted. When he told us it'd be performed in solo-ukulele form, that delight was doubled. It helps that the slightly cheesy lyric is something that Barzelay can relate to--missing your family while out on the road. Here's an amazing line from Wikipedia about Journey's original video: "Steve Perry can be seen shaving his short-lived but talked-about moustache in the video." Don't bail on this video, either: There's a surprise at the end that's even better than moustache-shaving. Clem Snide's latest album is The Meat Of Life.

It is the signature ride of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter area of the theme park, and takes riders through scenes and environments in and around Hogwarts Castle from the various books and films of the Harry Potter series. Mark Woodbury, president of Universal Creative, described the ride as an in-depth look at the world of Harry Potter, which utilizes never before seen technology which transforms "the theme park experience as you know it". It opened with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter section on June 18, 2010. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey utilizes KUKA robocoaster technology, which allows the seats to pivot while being held above the track by a robotic arm. However, the ride is not a roller coaster but a scenic dark ride. The experience includes scenes such as flying around Hogwarts castle, encountering the Whomping Willow and a horde of Dementors, and being caught in a Quidditch match. The ride performs such movements as dropping, spinning around, twisting and turning. The ride does not ever go upside down, though there are a few moments when riders are flat on their backs.
