Seven time GRAMMY winner John Mayer was honored Wednesday night by at the annual GRAMMYs on the Hill in support of his advocacy work for music education and support of veterans affairs. Other honorees included Rep. Howard Berman. Mayer talked about the challenges that returning veterans face and why its an important issue to tackle, and then took the stage with blues legend Buddy Guy for a musical extravaganza.

Music Video for the song 'Assassin' from John Mayer's Battle Studies Album. Inspired by the live performances of the song from John Mayer's Current US tour, I've tried to Incorporate the onstage visuals and musical extensions of the song (found in the live shows) with the album version of the track. For me this is the most cinematic sounding track from the John Mayer collection and holds one of the more obvious and distinct themes. I had fun with it and this is my own visual interpretation of the song. The hardcore Mayer fans will probably notice a few of the subtle inclusions within the video. I hope you enjoy. Living in England i'm a little behind the majority of you guys with reading and responding to messages. The comments so far have been unbelievable. To have the first day of it being up on the net and recieve a comment from John Mayer himself was the best thing that could have happened. I would of never thought that would happen when making it. John Mayer "Heartbreak Warfare" - Official Augmented Reality Music Video - High Quality
Studio B teamed with Adobe and John Mayer to create the worlds first Augmented Reality music video. Studio B shot and keyed the green screen footage using the new Apple ProRes 444 codec. Flash Augmented Reality (FLAR) is a way of creating a digital hologram in 3D space by holding up a marker to your computer's camera and activating a special piece of Flash software. As you can see in this video, I'm holding up a piece of paper with the designated marker (in this case a broken heart), and the video of John Mayer follows it around the screen, and even tilts in 3D space! The FLAR technology was featured in WIRED Magazine, and you can check out their video as well. You can try out John Mayer's Augmented Reality video for yourself at www.johnmayer.com.
