Making japchae (Korean stir fried noodles and vegetables)
Full recipe: www.maangchi.com This time I make delicious job chae (also spelled japchae, jabchae, chapchae, chopchae or jobchae), Korean-style stir fried noodles and vegetables. Ingredients: • Starch noodles ("dangmyun") • 150 grams of beef • 1 bunch of spinach • 1 medium size carrot • 1 medium size onion • mushrooms (5 dried shiitake and 1 package of white mushrooms) • 3 cloves of garlic • 7-8 green onions • soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, pepper, and sesame seeds See my website for photos and details of ingredients: www.maangchi.com Makes 4 servings. How to prepare your ingredients before stir frying: 1. Soak 5 dried shitake mushrooms in warm water for a few hours until they become soft. Squeeze the water out of them and slice thinly. 2. Slice a package of white mushrooms (2 cups' worth). 3. Cut a carrot into thin matchstick-shaped pieces 5 cm long. 4. Cut 7 -8 green onions into 7 cm long pieces. 5. Slice one onion thinly. 6. Slice 150 grams of beef into thin strips. Now let's start! 1. Boil 2 bunches of noodles in boiling water in a big pot for about 3 minutes. When the noodles are soft, drain them and put in a large bowl. 2. Cut the noodles several times by using scissors and add 1 tbs of soy sauce and 1 tbs of sesame oil. Mix it up and set aside. *tip: Take one sample and taste it to see whether or not it's cooked properly. If it feels soft, it's finished. 3. As far as who he wants to fight, Belfort wants the winner of the upcoming fight between Brian Stann and Chael Sonnen because he wants to get back into the title picture. Belfort has some very interesting things to say in particular to UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen, who has made talking about Brazil almost like a second job. Looking at his career record, Belfort isn't overly impressed with what Belfort has been able to accomplish, outside of running his mouth. Dalja's spring MV - At this age
Hi everyone ! It's been a while! Hope you're enjoying your summer! I'm entering the "Best Asian Drama Vidder" contest with this video! (It may not be enough to win, but it was a nice source of motivation !! =D) I've really really enjoyed editing this video! It's the first time I've made a video that focuses on only one character! Dalja's life was the perfect representation of this song's lyrics and for each sentence, it was hard to chose among all the scenes I had cut. This song deals with the feeling of getting old.....(as I was making the vid I couldn't stop thinking "god, will that be me when I'm 30?!! OO). Even though I've had a great time when the lyrics were sticked to the music, I found myself troubled with the last 20 seconds of the song, which were instrumental only. I've never been good at ending mv nicely.....I always want to get the mv done as fast as I can so that I upload it on YT =D When my best friend watched the first minute of this mv, she told me "it's not fair! Dalja cannot be considered desperate, she's got Tae Bong as a boyfriend!!!" and it was true......even I'm willing to be 30 if that means I can be with such a hot guy lol!! Moreover, the song wasn't really meant for a lovey dovey happy ending .... Still, I didn't want Dalja to end up the same as what she was all the mv long....I didn't want to feel like saying "poor thing" each time I'd watch the mv in the future! In the last scene, Dalja has a bright smile on her face and doesn't seem to care ...

"Easy" is one of those hard to find geldings. As you can see in the video he is gentle but can get up and move if you ask him too. He is one of the favorites on the ranch. He has been hauled to jackpots and has been in one rodeo. He ran in and ran out like a pro. He will stand tied to the trailer quietly and hauls great. He was hauled some last year and has been hauled lightly this year. He has not been pushed. Goes in the gate quietly and comes out the same way. Loves to trail ride alone or with other horses. He is current on vaccinations and just had a full Dental by a dvm equine dentist. He will run any speed depending on the rider. He has run in the 2D and with more hauling and seasoning he will continue to get faster. Super smooth canter. He would be perfect for a youth or an advanced rider he will ride to your level. He is just a good guy and has never done anything wrong. Cant say enough good things about this horse. Job loss and not finding another job has forced me to sell him. To good home only. And I had to render it more than three time until find the best color, and I didn't really know if this one is good, but I couldn't render it one more time (One of the times took me ONE HOUR to finish uu). Well about the mv and the couple, It took me awhile to find a suitable music for them, but in the end I found this one pretty nice. Hope you like it also for the couple. I just love these two, couldn't like Eun Chae with Yong. Don't think she really loved him... She just admired Iljimae and that's all. Or at least, did not love him completely. She couldn't even recognize him, please ¬¬ Who could look at him in his eyes and didn't realize he was actually Iljimae? And Bong Soon clearly loved him until the end, and did everything for him. Cooking bulgogi and bulgogi stew
www.maangchi.com Bulgogi is a famous korean dish made with marinated sliced beef. In this video, I make Bulgogi stew using marinated bulgogi and some vegetables. "Bulgogi" Ingredients: 2 pounds of tenderloin beef, soy sauce, sugar, honey, garlic, pear, onion, sesame oil and seeds, 1 can of beef broth, mushrooms, carrot, green onions, tofu, onion, and green chili pepper. Directions: 1. Make marinade sauce for 2 pounds of beef by mixing following: ½ cup soy sauce, ¼ cup sugar, 12 cloves minced garlic, 1 medium size onion (crushed), 1 small size of Asian pear (crushed), ½ cup of water (can be replaced with cooking wine), and 1 tbs of honey. *tip: Using a food processor is very convenient. 2. Prepare a large stainless bowl and pour the marinade sauce in it. 3. Slice the beef thinly, against the grain, to make it tender. *tip: Keep the beef in the freezer for a few hours beforehand, then it will be easier to cut. 4. Place the sliced beef into the marinade and add 1 or 2 tbs of sesame oil and some toasted sesame seeds. Mix it by hand and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. 5. After 3 hours, you can grill the meat on charcoal bbq, broil it in oven, or grill it on pan. "Bulgogi stew (bulgogi jungol)" Ingredients (for 4-6 servings): marinated bulgogi (the recipe from above), mushrooms, green onions, tofu or noodles, and green chili pepper. Directions: 1. Sweet and sour beef (tangsuyuk)
Here's my recipe for sweet and sour beef. You can use pork if you prefer it. The full recipe is here: www.maangchi.com 4-6 servings Ingredients: 600 grams (1.3 Lb) of beef, starch powder (2 cups and 2 tbs), vegetable oil, egg, Turbinado sugar1 cup (brown or white sugar is ok too), salt, ground black pepper, 3 tbs vinegar, apple, pineapple, 5-7 wood ear mushrooms, onion, cucumber, carrot, and water 1. Soak ¼ cup of dried wood ear mushrooms in warm water (about 5-7 mushrooms) for a few hours. 2. To make the coating batter, mix 2 cups of starch powder (either corn starch or potato starch) with water (about 3 cups) and let it sit for a few hours until the starch sinks in the bowl. Then remove the water by pouring it into the sink. *tip: after draining the water, the starch will be solid and stiff. 3. Cut beef into thin strips (5 cm long, 1 cm thick, 1 cm wide) and put it in a bowl. 4. Add ½ ts salt and ½ ts ground black pepper to the beef and mix it well with your hand. Set it aside. 5. Add the beef strips to the starch, and 1 egg white (or yolk) and mix it well with your hand. 6. Heat vegetable oil in your wok and fry the beef strips for about 5 minutes until they look golden brown and crispy. It's very important to coat the beef strips with as much starch batter as you can. Thankyou for watching! This project wasn't easy and with every project, comes its highs and lows. I lack in professional equipment hence I used an iPod microphone and basic video-editing software to piece the audio together (you can hear the scratchy noises caused by my hair, lol). I was going through intense exam time period, along with my friends, so organizing a time, date and place was extremely difficult. But it didn't waver my passion nor my determination, no matter how many times I've cried and pulled my hair over this. The lead actor and actress (I think they deserve an applause, am I right?) were only available for two-three hours of that day so filming was minimal and tight. I shortened the video (it was meant to be in full-length initially) due to a lack of footage meaning I've had to work my way around with the basics we got (I hope it backs up the reason as why it's so random). I want to thank my supportive friends with the optimism that pulled me through this entire thing. Leanne, thankyou for working with me in this. I've came to realise that we're great partners and that this wouldn't have happened without you. Adrian and Helen, thankyou for agreeing to be my main lead couple!
