The Rider shares some parts with Concord's multi ward winning Neo stroller (Jane own Concord) a Which? "Best Buy" and winner of "Best Travel System" by "Mother and Baby" magazine. So what makes the "Jane Rider" so special? Well it is not just the ease of use.........the fact that it can accept the Jane Strata, Matrix Light, Transporter or Micro tops...........or the fact that it looks soooo cool. It's the way the "Jane Rider" folds! Much depends on how you measure it.......but as a rough guide the "Jane Rider" folds about 20% smaller than any other pushchair in its class and this is achieved by an amazing new design which tucks the rear wheels under the main pushchair chassis (rather similar to that of an aircrafts landing wheel system). Its difficult to equate it in words.......but what starts as a normal size pushchair ends up as a dinky little bundle of modern oval aliminium tubes .......which is pretty lightweight to boot! Unlike so many other pushchairs ........you do not have to remove the seat on Rider when you fold it down. The seat is big enough to satisfy any growing child.........again something which some other manufacturers seem to have problems coping with. This week we give you a very special edition: How To Get Your Book Published. Guests: Literary Agent Margaret O'Connor-Chumley of the Renaissance Literary and Talent Agency and Sarah-Jane Stratford, Author of The Midnight Guardian (2009, St. Martin's Press). Host Mark Jeffrey opened the show describing the 'three steps' to getting you book from your hard drive to the book store, and promised that the three participants would go into detail describing their own experience with the process. Mark introduced Margaret first, revealing that she is his own agent, and noting that Margaret sold his book very fast: within about four month of meeting. Next he introduced Sarah-Jane, and held up her book THE MIDNIGHT GUARDIAN, describing it as 'Vampire vs. Nazi's in WWII Germany.' Sarah-Jane elaborated on this description, and described her trip to Bogota, Columbia briefly. Mark noted that This Week In Books is a re-boot of the previous 'Bibliotech' show, and that there are past episodes that include interviews with Anne Rice, Margaret Atwood, Scott Sigler and Goodreads founder Otis Chandler, among others. This was SOOOO much fun to do, i absolutely love the band and this is one of my favorites from Phobia. Was also really cool to be able to use the electronic pads to trigger a closed hihat sound while i could do the doublebass groove on the bottom. Fun fun fun :) Nice and heavy aswell.. contrary to popular belief, i LOVE heavy stuff. I have to emphasize, I know calling this a "cover" is wrong, seeing as I only PARTLY stayed true to the song's drums (or lack thereof), through the WHOLE song i play some variations of the beats, phrasing and fills, since 99% of what i play is improvised. Even though i have done my fair share of session and studio drumming, that has little to zero effect on these video's, I kind of see them as live performances. I'm NOT aiming to be accurate to the original drums, I'm just aiming to enjoy myself. Charlotte Bronte stayed at Hathersage Church Vicarage for three weeks in the summer of 1845, the year before she started to write Jane Eyre. So she would have been very aware of the chime of the church clock, the sound Jane Eyre hears that draws her to 'Morton'. Charlotte Bronte walked up to the moors and also visited North Lees Hall, then occupied by Mary Eyre and her family. There are Eyre family graves in the churchyard. Many believe Hathersage was the 'Morton' of Jane Eyre and that North Lees Hall was the model for 'Thornfield'. Scenes from Jane Eyre 2006 were filmed on Stanage Edge.
