This is a classic and easy to prepare dish that will be a hit with your family! Also see the entire recipe on our website here: isernio.com Time to prep: 10 minutes Time to cook: 50 minutes Serves 4 as a main course SHOPPING LIST: 6 Isernio's Italian Sausage links (pork or chicken) 3 bell peppers - yellow, orange & red- seeded & cut into 1" strips 1 large onion thinly sliced 4 - 5 Tbsp. Olive Oil Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped oregano or 1 tsp. dried oregano Option: 2 large baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4" thick half rounds LET'S COOK Preheat oven to 350°. Heat 1 Tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat, brown the sausage on both sides, about 4 minutes per side until lightly browned, set skillet aside. Sausage does not need to be cooked through, just browned on the outside. Place the onion, peppers and oregano in a large bowl. Drizzle generously with about 4 Tbsp. olive oil and season well with salt and pepper. Mix well. Place the browned sausages, peppers & onion mixture on a large rimmed baking sheet or roasting pan, uncovered. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. OPTION: If you have a Convection Oven, bake at 350° on "Convection" for 30 minutes, stirring half way through cooking. If you add potatoes, they will brown better in a convection oven. Taste for salt & pepper, serve immediately.

Joni James - Why Don't You Believe Me
Joni James (Giovanna 'Joan' Carmella Babo) was born into an Italian family in Chicago on Sept. 22, 1930. As an adolescent, she studied drama and ballet, and on graduating from high school, went with a local dance group on a tour of Canada. She then took a job as a chorus girl in the Edgewater Beach Hotel in Chicago. After doing a fill-in in Indiana, she decided to pursue a singing career. Some executives at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) spotted her in a television commercial, and she was signed by MGM in 1952. Her first hit, "Why Don't You Believe Me?" sold over two million copies. She had a number of hits following that one, including "Your Cheatin' Heart" (a cover of Hank Williams' hit) and "Have You Heard?"
Oasis: What's Your Story? - Family
A while back Oasisinet asked you to send us in your stories about what Oasis and their music mean to you. We heard from thousands of fans all around the world and would like to say a big thank you to all who got in touch. Big Brother Recordings took a small selection of these fans and filmed their stories. Each intimate portrait concentrates on how specific Oasis songs have affected their lives and are cut together with footage that you sent to us telling your story. In amongst these short films are Italian football idol Alessandro del Piero, whose 2006 World Cup victory played out to the soundtrack of 'Don't Believe The Truth'. Every single night, Amelie rubs her face against ours, trying to get us to kiss her. Such a wonderful breed. The Italian Greyhound in this video was adopted. We did not buy her from a pet store or a breeder. Someone else bought her from a petstore and could not keep her. Our other two IG's are rescue dogs. There is no reason to buy from a breeder or a petstore. We got three pure bred Italian Greyhounds all under the age of 1 by adoption or rescue.

During the 80's hope arose for those seeking to have a child - Brazil. Approximately 3000 Israeli families flew to the carnival country to adopt a child. German and Italian families were also part of this adoption wave. In the meantime, the children, now grown-up, are traveling to their land of origin to look for the woman who gave birth to them. Filmmaker Nili Tal follows four young Israeli women on such a voyage. This is a moving trip to a third-world country, where women have four or five children from several men and another one somewhere in a far away place. It is also a personal voyage into each of the protagonists' life bringing up issues concerning us all. Part 2 of Frank being interviewed by comedian David Brenner on his short lived talk show, "Nite Life", in the mid 1980's. Check out Uber-cool band leader, Billy Preston, of "Nothing From Nothing" and the Beatles' "Get Back" fame. In this segment, Frank introduces his 2 oldest Moon Unit and Dweezil (18 and 16) who seem to be some of the most well adjusted children in show business, especially for the offspring of one of the most iconoclastic musical icons of the time. Notice how ariculate they are and their lively sense of humor. Frank was nothing if not a good, attentive, present parent. man, look at the noses on these 2 Gentlemen; nearly identical. The Jew and the Italian are pretty close in size in the proboscus department. Dweezil is an excellent Guitarist in his own right, and Moon is an outspoken political activist and comedian herself, and both are busy raising families of their own. We miss Zappa, and while his kids haven't nessisarily risen to his lofty heights of avant garde musical expression, they all seem to be living very happy lives. This interview is a tribute to his cleverness and grace.
