DYNO DAY! Lexus IS-F on 100 Shot Nitrous (NOS)
got the NOS installed a few days ago - see the install pics here: www.stevemeadedesigns.com We started out without NOS, just the Exhaust and Intake were a factor. The number was around 353rwhp Next we did a 75 shot of NOS and did about 401rwhp. I figured that wasn't worth looking at so we skipped (in the video) to run #3 which was with a 100 shot of NOS and got it up to around 430rwhp. Since i have an 8 speed tranny, and we were pulling in 6th gear, i asked if we could do a run at full throttle all the way through all 8......next video, you will see how fast we went. I was surprised! I had just got done getting my 100 shot NOS from Holley installed and after a few runs and seeing the Dyno hit 172 with ease and only in 6th gear, i asked if we could do a test run, just for fun to see how fast it would go......if we used all 8 gears instead of just 6th. They said "ok!" and it was on! Yes, i know this isnt the same as the street, no need to explain that to me, but it was still VERY EXCITING to see in person....and thats why i am bringing it to you! I dont know about you but i get chills just watching this! Also, as stated in the title, we did NOT SPRAY any Nitrous. The tech thinks i could have done 200+ with a shot, since we were only at 5500rpm....but i am happy with what rounds off to 198mph. Not bad for a 4 door! Don't forget to check out my website! Plus I wanted a more smooth orchestrated video that taught viewers a little more about the history behind the car, my search is over and I hope everyone enjoys! 2011 Lexus ISF, Tinted tailights using VHT Nightshades - google it, its easy to find. I had my favorite paint guy Roy Devore come by and hit these for me to make SURE it was perfect. I do a lot of things but i trust Roy more then myself when it comes to something like this. I think they came out great! This was done last week but i am just now getting to the video. Next on my list is adjustable ball joints for the front to eliminate camber and after that some black pearl emblems. I am waiting on the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3 to be available before i can get started on the system......that is coming soon also! thanks for watching! NEW SHOES! 2011 Lexus IS-F CUSTOM AZA 20" Staggered Wheels on Nitto INVO
***THESE WHEELS HAVE BEEN CHANGED SINCE THIS VIDEO WAS SHOT. THEY ARE ALL BLACK NOW!*** This is video 2 of 2 The new custom 1-off 20" wheels for my Lexus IS-F are finally finished and on! This is a brand new forging, very similar to the AZA "slide" wheel (see website), but a little different to accommodate my Brembo brakes. There is a 4" lip up front and a 4 1/2" lip in the rear. Everything is black but the inner spokes which are brushed aluminum and the stripe on the outside which is also brushed aluminum. The wheels are 20x10 in the rear with a 275/25/20 Nitto Invo tire. The wheels up front are 20x9 with a 235/30/20 Nitto Invo tire. I hope to lower this car by at least 1" sometime this year. The suspension for the '11 is supposed to be all new and re-engineered for this year so im not sure what my choices are going to be. It has a factory 1" drop from the normal IS250/350 so its already got a nice stance IMO. Installed ppe headers and the joe-z true dual exhaust this weekend with my friend Tom. Sound is amazing in person. This was taken with an iphone so not the greatest audio/video. The steam is partially because it was 28 degrees out. The smoke was from the coating on the header and all the new piping warming up. My phone couldn't handle the last rev at the end! Fail!
