Pec Exercise: Incline Dumbbell Press
www.scoobysworkshop.com Video clip showing proper form of the incline dumbbell press exercise for chest. This variation of the basic dumbbell press is a great mass builder also, just another twist to keep your muscles guessing. If you dont have an incline bench you can make one by securely tying a 2x8 to a coffeetable as I have done here. This exercise is best done with a spotter. If you are working out alone, use lighter weight and higer reps for safety. As withany dumbbell exercise, form is key if you want to maximize your muscle building efforts and minimize the chance of injury. Don't use too much weight, if you can't do the exercise slowly then you need to go lighter. Count aloud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" on the way up and the way down, if you cant do this on this exercise then you are using too much weight. The reason this exercise method maximizes your muscle growth is because it confines the motion to the muscle you are trying to work out, if your body squirms, swings, and kicks, all you are doing is taking the focus away from the muscle you are trying to exercise. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. The Incline (in Manitou Springs)
This is my third time completing The Incline. Imagine climbing 5000 steps of old railroad ties. One mile straight up....2011 feet in elevation gain. An average of 41% grade and a high of 68% grade. Starting at 6874 feet and climbing to 8585 feet! It if were a ski slpoe, it would be a "BLACK" run!! Literacy check: "breathe" should have been "breath" oops :o( **Sorry this is sooo long and boring. Home Chest Workout: Incline Dumbbell Fly Variant
I love sqeezing exercises for chest as most of my results in chest mass and strength have come from this type exercise. I have covered the basic dumbbell fly in a previous video and here I have a cool variant that you do on an incline bench (or a board leaning against a wall). For this incline fly use a light weight, approximately 20% of what you use for incline dumbbell press. In this exercise we keep the arms straight but not locked and the arms are not perpendicular to our sides like in a normal fly, are not alongside our legs, but halfway inbetween. The palms are facing up at a 45 degree angle.Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts. Nutrition is key to being able to add muscle! Bench Press, Incline Press & Military Prs
Often people are not doing the exercise they think they are because of poor form. I know this sounds crazy but often people are doing bench when they *think* they are doing incline press. Or they *think* they are doing military press for shoulders when they are really exercising. People fail to realize that which exercise you are doing isn't determined by the bench you use, but how you sit on it!

HD - The Lickey Incline - Part 1 - Bromsgrove
For the first time, I took a trip to the Lickey Incline. The Lickey Incline is just over two miles long, at an average gradient of 1 in 37.7 (2.65%), between Bromsgrove and Blackwell (near Barnt Green). Here we see Bromsgrove station, which is at the bottom of the incline. Stopping services are usually provided by Class 170's, operated by London Midland. 1. Cross Country Trains Voyager Class 220 2. London Midland Turbostar 170 thrashes out of Bromsgrove to tackle the 2.65% grade 3. Cross Country Trains Turbostar Class 170 working to Cardiff (LM 170 seen in previous clip) 4. London Midland Class 150, crosses over to form the Bromsgrove to Birmingham New Street special. 5. London Midland Turbostar Class 170 arrives into Bromsgrove 6. London Midland Class 150(125) arrives into Bromsgrove after clearing signal section to switch ends. 7. London Midland Class 150(125) departs for Birmingham New Street 8. The Britannia Banker - Steam on the Lickey Incline - LMS 6201 Princess Elizabeth & GWR 9600 Banker
THE BRITANNIA BANKER - With 40285lb of Tractive Effort, was there any need for LMS Princess Class 8P 4-6-2 no 6201 Princess Elizabeth to require the banking assistance of GWR 8750 Class 0-6-0PT no 9600? Either way, we filmed the tour here from "Half way foot crossing" on the "correct" side of the fence, traveling up the famous 2 mile long Lickey Incline which is a 1 in 37 graident. This tour was origionally set for 70013 Oliver Cromwell, but due to a fault being found just 2 weeks prior to the tour, Vintage Trains sourced a new locomotive, that being 6201 Princess Elizabeth. Firstly in this video, we witness our Lickey Banker no 9600 travelling light down the incline to Bromsgrove, where she will be added to the tour. In the second shot, we see everybodys fear - the "down" signal changing to Green. Luckily with prior knowledge of the train traveling down, I knew we would get a cross over, before our steam charter passed us, as the Cross Country 170 was calling at Bromsgrove (just out of sight). Although this is my second time to the foot crossing, this was the first time i've seen Steam on the Lickey, and what a fantastic first. Many thanks to everybody who paid to travel on this fantastic tour to make it happen, and also to AY67 & MG06ZT (AKA XC Hoover) for the company.
