Morning Walk
Morning Walk - The Full Bollywood Hindi Movie. "Morning Walk " the film is about the person's(Joymohan) life changes it all. After suffering a heart-attack one morning, on his birthday, Joymohan (Anupam Kher) realizes that he needs to spend more time with his family - son (Rajit Kapoor), daughter-in-law (Divya Dutta) and grand-daughter Avika Gor and mend broken bridges of the past. Professor Joymohan stays alone in Kolkata. He is a heart patient and when he gets a severe heart attack on his birthday he realizes he needs to spend as much time with his family in Mumbai as possible. He then goes to Mumbai to his son Indra, daughter in law Rita and grand daughter Gargi. While Indra and Gargi are delighted, Rita is not so happy about his arrival. She makes her displeasure more vocal. Joymohan starts going for morning walks to the nearby park in the mornings. During one such morning walk he meets his old student Neelima and her daughter Anjali who wants to do a doctorate in the US.
Marvin Gaye "Flying High In A Friendly Sky" (1971)
From Marvin's brilliant 1971 album "Whats Going On" Flyin' High (In the Friendly Sky)" is a 1971 song co-written and produced by singer Marvin Gaye, later issued as the third track on Marvin's lauded What's Going On album. The song continued in a song cycle that had begun with the previous track, "What's Happening Brother" as quickly after the song ended with the lyric, "Cause I'm slightly behind the time" creating a moody and ominous sound punctuated by the singer's falsetto. Co-written with wife Anna Gordy and confidant Elgie Stover, the song talked about drug addiction, the drug of choice in the song is heroin as explained in the lyric, "I know I'm hooked my friend/to the boy who makes slaves out of men". Related to the song, numerous Vietnam vets struggled with heroin addiction. Marvin later stated the song title was a ploy at an ad made by American Airlines ironically with the slogan, "flying in the friendly skies". The song would be sampled by several hip-hop musicians. Marvin sings both lead and background vocals on this song. The song was originally recorded under a slightly different mix a year before as "Sad Tomorrows" which Gaye co-wrote by Fuller Gordy and Delores Wilkinson and featured background vocals by The Originals, with whom had big hits under Gaye's productions. Working on the Enterprise is pretty much a non-stop party as far as I'm concerned. (Probably because the only parts I pay attention to are the Kirk/Spock moments, Scotty when he's drinking, Chekov when he's macking on his girlfriend and doing no work, and Uhura singing and just HAVING A GOOF in general.) Carpenters - Good Morning America Interview (August 1981)
In June 1981, the Carpenters released "Made In America" which would turn out to be the last album released during Karen's lifetime. In August of that year, they made an appearance on "Good Morning, America" to publicize the release of the album. (Note: this television appearance took place 8 months before Karen recorded her last song, "Now.") Karen had been married just a little over a year and already her marriage was beginning to show signs of strain. It is evident in this video how ill Karen was at that time in her life. There had been no album released since "Passage" (1977) and the Carpenters were attempting a comeback. A single from the new album "Touch Me When We're Dancing," was a success, reaching #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and #1 on the Adult Contemporary Chart. Karen and Richard went on a world tour to promote the album with television appearances in Germany and Brazil. Shortly after returning home from the tour in November, Karen and her husband Tom Burris officially separated. Karen spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family. In January 1982, she went to New York to seek treatment for her anorexia nervosa with psychotherapist Steven Levenkon. In April of 1982, Karen returned to California for a two-week vacation. Richard has said in interviews that she had lost even more weight since the last time he had seen her. The Proposal (Finding Love)
I knew I was going to marry this girl as soon as we started dating, so I started cooking up a plan that would surprise and bless her. I thought it would be great to have our friends be a part of the surprise, so I invited some of our friends to help with the process. The plan was to propose on her birthday so she wouldn't suspect anything other than a birthday surprise. From the beginning, I started collecting mementos of our dates and things that reminded me of her and took plenty of photos (she thought it strange that I took so many photos, but I had big plans). I enjoy playing and writing music for fun and recorded covers for her almost every month up until 1 year, which she enjoyed thoroughly because it included songs that she liked. For the proposal, I decided to write a song about how I've never said the words "I love you" to her, because it was reserved for a special moment such as when we decide to spend the rest of our lives together. My roommate, who works for Sony, hooked me up with studio time and a couple of my talented friends and I recorded the song. I planned on taking it a step further and had the help of some talented videographers help make this music video. The videographers had the brilliant idea of recording the actual proposal and editing the same day so our friends at the party that awaited her could watch everything (footage of the party to come).
