Ustadh Yahya Ibrahim was born in Waterloo, Canada. In his quest for authentic, classical Islamic knowledge, he travelled to meet and study under some of the most prominent scholars of our era. While attending the University of Toronto, he would travel regularly during his free time to further his knowledge of Islam. Being proficient in Arabic and English, he grew up translating live for English audiences Arabic lectures delivered by visiting Islamic dignitaries from all around the world. Yahya Ibrahim began memorising the Qur'an at the age of 16 and finished 20 months later, receiving an ijazah (certification). He began lecturing at the main mosques in Toronto at the age of 17 and has been involved in the Islamic community as a lecturer and translator since 1995, alhamdulillah. Ustadh Yahya is blessed now to be living in Perth, Western Australia with his wife and two children - Shireen and Omar. He is a regular lecturer to Muslim and non-Muslim audiences their and around the world. A powerful presentation by Br. Nouman Ali Khan. It deals with the all important issue of responsibility of parents, their vision, and their aim for Muslim youth. Masjid At-Taqwa, Synott, Houston, Texas on April 18, 2009. Nouman is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah, as well as the lead instructor for a number of Bayyinah courses including the 'Fundamentals of Classical Arabic' and 'Divine Speech'. His first exposure to Arabic study was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he completed his elementary education. He continued Arabic grammar study in Pakistan, where he received a scholarship for ranking among the top 10 scores in the national Arabic studies board examinations in 1993. But his serious training in Arabic began in the United States in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and formal principal of Quran College, Faisalabad, Pakistan who happened to be touring the US for intensive lectures in Tafsir and Arabic studies. Under Dr. Abdus-Samie, Nouman developed a keen methodical understanding of Arabic grammar. He further benefited from Dr. Abdus-Samie by internalizing his unique teaching methods and later translating his work into English for the benefit of his own students. Nouman served as professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until '06 and has taught Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for nearly 7 years with over 10000 students nationwide. People should ask themselves why Libya is so resilient and why the Rebels need so much foreign support for bombing fellow Libyans. If there really was so much popular support the uprising would have ended many months ago. At the moment the NATO-countries are backing the two J's (Jalil and Jabril) after they sacked everyone in their 'National Transitional Council' to represent the complete country of Libya. Isn't that pure insanity? It seems that we cannot trust the international Press to defend the Libyans that suffer from the crimes of NATO and the Rebels. The only thing we have is the ability to spread this news through YouTube - please favorite this video or mirror it and talk to other people about it. Perhaps we can create a YouTube Revolution against the NATO-Empire and their non-UN-backed backed support of one party in the conflict? Let's end this madness and the lawless murdering by anonymous NATO pilots killing and hiding in their warplanes, sleeping nicely in their beds after having bombed so many people to death.
