"WTF??!?!" you may think. "I have it right there! resources :posts ! What more is there? RPC? Huh?" In this talk, Steve will explain how to design your APIs so that they truly embrace the web and HTTP. Just as there's an impedance mismatch between our databases, our ORMs, and our models, there's an equal mismatch between our applications, our APIs, and our clients. Pros and cons of this approach will be discussed, as well as why we aren't building things this way yet.

Virtual Tour of i^3 hypermedia
i^3 counter-broadcast: i3hypermedia.com Virtual Tour of i^3 hyper-media Sarah i^3 is Arturo's new company that I have been helping him build for the past few months. It is also the new home for B-17 (besides my apt, the streets, and everywhere else). I am a "creative" there, and it's been a crazy and exciting transition. The company itself is really unique and....kinda hard to explain. Maybe Arturo wants to try? Arturo: I think this video gets pretty close to capturing the spirit of what we're doing. When Sarah and I started working on B-17, I never imagined it would lead here - an awesome, astonishing, phantasmagorical adventure. Sarah: I led this virtual tour for the i^3 website (i-cubedhypermedia.com). I guess it is an industry norm to do corporate 'walk-throughs', and we kind of played on some those stereotypes and tried to challenge them. So uh.....I have no idea what it looks like to people outside of that circle, but it will be funny to find out. Enjoy! New B-17 episodes are in the works! Hypermedia Evolution
The Hypermedia Evolution is a video installation by Guido Bertling. Each white dot is a radio transponder (RFID Chip) representing a video fragment. The lines interconnecting the white dots represent content links. With the use of a handheld computer, viewers could zap through the non linear film simple by moving it close to one of the white dots. Video fragments are reedited open source video fragments or pictures.

This is a time lapse video I did for my Hypermedia class. The music is Sovus Radio and I used a variety of found photographs as well as my own video. CERCLL Project: Hypermedia: Multimodal Text Annotation
Project Director: Dr. Robert Ariew introduces his project "Hypermedia: Multimodal Text Annotation." This project will annotate different types of texts with multimedia hyperlinks (hypermedia) to facilitate linguistic as well as cultural comprehension of reading texts for language learners. Hypermedia can clarify, explain and illustrate not only the meanings of words and expressions, but also rhetorical, socio/cultural, historical and other concepts embedded in the text. Additional information about certain words or concepts may appear as hypermedia annotations presenting information in nodes and links. Working with Italian and Arabic, this project is producing contemporary and authentic sources annotated with the aid of multiple forms of digital media such as text, graphics, audio, and video. Teachers will be able to use these annotated texts as part of their classroom resources. The annotations are being done in 2008-2010; the materials are being used in language classrooms and feedback from teachers and students will lead to improvements in the materials.
How the Web Evolves with Hypermedia
The success of the Web as a system for information exchange that effortlessly scaled to span an entire planet can be attributed to a very small set of key factors. But the interactions have thus far been driven by the smartest, most adaptable hypermedia consumers there are: human brains. Now it is time for machines to communicate in the same evolvable, unbreakable and interoperable fashion.

The End Of Hypermedia - Put to good use from February 2007 to September 2010
Yep, I'm pretty much done with that Hypermedia program I have. It's just shocking now, quality is not good at all, it's even worse recording PS2 games, and PS3 games. This program only works best when I play PS1 games, because there's less fancy graphics, etc. Well I found another device like this one, hopefully I can make the quality much better.
