One of the highlights of 2011 is when HRC hosts their Cleveland Gala Dinner and Auction. The atmosphere is full or promise and discovery as the night gives way to many influential people in our community. So when Chrissie Hynde from the rock group Pretenders took to the stage to be specially honored, we were granted a personal interview with her before it all took place. Special thanks to Stevie Reese Desmond and the Cleveland HRC organization for allowing us this opportunity to reflect back on the importance of straight allies within the LGBT Community.
